Eh you were close. And now my cockatiel wont stop trying to console me. She is very much a part of my shirt front now. Either huddled under my chin or glued with her beak next to my ear. I'm sure it would be cute if I had eyes under my chin or on the side of my head.

Heh. Yay. I miss you, muchly. Really, I do.
--- You know, we just did the "Big Red Challenge" and it is so much fun and sooooo painful at the same time. What you do is take a Big Red gum wrapper, lick it, and stick it to your forehead. It burns like a &$@**$*#@!!!!!! You are actually supposed to keep it on till it stops burning then take it off, at which point it is supposed to burn even worse than before. Oh, how I love torture. Speaking of torture, the results are in. Chinese water torture works. So sayeth Mythbusters. (Hmn, so Sane, does this inspire a project for this weekend? ) I am such a bad person. |

By the way, my midterm for Tea Ceremony went terrible:
There were some things I kept forgetting, so I have been practicing really hard on those and today I didn't forget them. Instead I made 4 different but huge mistakes...

A question for the Brits here: I'm attempting to get my parents on a weekend trip to London. Does the euro gets accepted here and there, or should they try to use only English pounds? And if so, are there enough locations where they might exchange euros into pounds?

We only accept pounds over here, so you have to convert all the euros you have into pounds.

Very pretty pictures Mari, thank you!
And Katt... Chinese water torture you say? Oh dear... Tempting. How to set it up? The Big Red thing sounds like it also could be fun. Oh! When you come Friday, get ready to transport one young female turtle. My brother was talking out of his arse when he said his friend had another turtle. MiMi is yours.

Rosie is extremely cuddly. I have never seen a bird flop on its back and beg for cuddles.

She is a cutie, that's for sure.
Um, how much turtle stuff do you have? I have a big tank, but no rocks or anything. I'm sure I could buy an appropriate light. |

Yeah, i've got some rocks and crushed coral sand for her. About a 3/4 ful bag. I'll have to show you how to clean out the sand and stuff. Its fun. That and you get to scrub said turtle with a toothbrush and she loves it.
