Review:

Monty Python and the Holy Grail had it's moments; the credits, the "seriousness" of the scenery, and battles. And the Lancelot episode.
But I was acutely dissapointed for the most part. The "humour" (I suppose this is what everyone is laughing about), is pretty tired, and sometimes just too sacriligeous to be enjoyable, much less amusing.
The accents which everyone has been raving about ("you'll love the accents!") were OK, and the characters whose accents weren't relly that different than usual were a lot funnier. John Cleese once again comes through as the funniest of the lot. The whole saving the "princess" from the castle scene was funny, and probably the best in the whole film.

Serenity. About as good as I thought it would be. Fun, entertaining. Not great, but real good.

Pride and Prejudice. The old one with Colin Firth. Excellent! Loved it.

Wallace and Gromit - not bad, cute, I enjoyed it, nice way to spend a lazy evening

I also watched Aladdin with my sister the other day.. you know it's a lot funnier when you're older and can understand the jokes lol.

I love Wallace and Gromit too, we have all of there films. My favorite is the Wrong Trousers I love the penguin!! A Grand Day Out was just kind of weird, and not really good technology wise it's something I would see on one of those shows that introduce new independent films. I love A Close Shave too, that sheep! Baa!

Saw National Treasure(r: ) and After the Sunset( r:) this Thursday. NT was kind of a boosted Raiders of the Lost Arc and AtS was a typical romantic comedy/"sort of" feel good movie.

I thought it a very good movie; lots of plot twists and surprises. I taped it (off PPV) and plan to watch it next time my wounds bother me.

I saw The Ring with my girlfriend yesterday. It was scary. She had seen it before, so when there was something scary, she told me, and I hid. I don't like horror movies at all. But I suppose it was a okay movie, kind of cool story and all.

I hated that movie because it freaked me out too much, which thinking of it I suppose means it was a good movie - in that genre, because it did its job. It freaked ME out, and I don't generally scare easily. But I don't like scary movies anyway. The world is scary enough in real life, I find nothing entertaining or "fun" in watching scary movies glorifying and reveling in the world's ugliness and stuff like that. That "Ring" chick FREAKED me out, man. Creepy.

I just watched The Shining for a Halloween movie. It was okay, but the book was better and scarier. (The movie was pretty scary too though)

The World's Fastest Indian with Anthony Hopkins. ****ing awesome. Go see it, if only to make fun of Anthony's idea of a kiwi accent. Inspirational. *headbang*

The Japanese version or the American one? I did see the US movie a while back but everyone's telling me the original Japanese movie is better and scarier.

Thank God no! It was the US one. My girlfriend too said the Japanese one is alot more scary.. seriously. That would have scared the s*** out of me. I'm so easily scared in this way.
