She and Abasi will probably bring back enough food for themselves and the designated non-warriors. So if nobody else bothers there won't be enough to go round. And yes, she'll think they're crazy.

(I think, anyway. Curufin may have completely different ideas for Abasi. But that's what I'd predict for Tabrîl )

what exactly do you mean, 'if nobody else bothers, there wont be enough to go around'? not trying to start anything, its just that I am unsure on your wording?

Like; If no one else bothers to hunt, there wont be enough to go around?

Psst... And by those deemed non warriors, I'm assuming that means everyone aside from Abasi and Tabril?

Yep. I wrote 'nobody' not 'anybody.'

Eh. I'm just generally speculating on stuff that hasn't happened yet and very possibly won't. Ignore me.

Good to see the story moving along again. So we will spend one more night (game time) here and then leave tommorow morning right?

Yes. Hedrim himself told us that... like months ago IRL... this morning game time. Haha.

It's pretty funny when you can't remember what your character said. (I'm guilty of that at times too)

Dang it. The multi-quote feature doesn't work cross-threads.

"Tommorow morning" answered Hedrim "Since you helped save Quickleaf and helped look after him...I suppose you are free to join us..." Hedrim looked around the camp site seeing if there were any objections.
Had to do it manually.

Hey Willow! Welcome back!
I thought you'd be gone all of July though.
Was my lurking that convincing? I hadn't actually gone yet...

I'm leaving tomorrow and I'll be gone all of August. Try not to abuse Haldis too much!

I might post on weekends and I'll definitely start posting again in September.

Later.

Looks like we'll be off very soon storywise

But there's no rush really, it's summer now and everyone are half-interested anyways. No point in half-interesting posts too

I'm off to France this week, I'll try to post a bit before then and then I'm back in mid-August around.

I'm not in the RPG or anything -- but since I'm here I should probably tell you since they haven't that Josh and Amy, more well known as Ingwe and Amael, they're on vacation and taking trips a lot lately so I wanted to let you folks know. Hope it's the right thread. They participate in the Long Lost Leaves one, and I'm sure I got the right thread but if I am wrong put me in the right direction.

Thanks for the message, Amanda.

I've returned and nearly everyone else has left! Ah well, we had said we'd take a break in August and return in September, so that is what we'll do.

Glad you liked it, my sis thought it was good too. Funny you should mention 'cheap', over here there's yearly a lot of grumbling that everything on the festival is too expensive and that they don't let you take your own water bottles.

Distances on maps mean nothing. We took nearly a whole year to get from the upper part of Green Wood to the bottom part, to Dol Guldur. So rest assured that there is plenty of time to read the books first before you join. By my estimations, Dol Guldur marks the end of the first half of the quest. There’s plenty of adventure ahead of you lot, I don't like being hasty. Hoom.

But I have to say, all, I'm amazed you didn't even get to the bar fight! I was so sure everyone was looking forward to it that there'd be a rush.

I'm going to do one reverse engineering feat, frankly I should have thought about it before I left. Since Radagast hasn't said a thing since giving the general travel-direction, since he probably had spoken up for Aerin, and since others effectively took over leadership, I'm going to make Radagast 'do a Gandalf' and have him leave alone ahead of you and meet you back after you went through the East Bight. That way you can have the bar fight unsupervised, and it will make a lot more sense that Radagast hasn't said anything during the packing preparations.

Therefor I have added this part to my last post in the game:
Quote:
"But I fear the precautions needed to traverse the eastern lands and reach the Iron Hills will need my actual presence. I shall need to travel ahead, alone, and join again with you somewhere after the East Bight. Have no fears," Radagast said when the others started to protest. "You know which way to go, and I will no doubt be able to find you again soon, after all you are not an inconspicuous group," he said with a smile.

And gathering quickly some of his belongings, the wizard set out on his solitary journey after saying goodbye to everyone. He soon was out of sight among the trees.
So remember: At this point you are travelling already without Radagast, he has gone ahead and will meet with you later.

EDIT: Also, I'm officially cutting a few long-time non-responsive characters loose. We can do a short post that these decide not to go East with the rest of us, and that they prefer to go home:

- Barliman (human, played by Butterbeer)
- The gaffer (aged Hobbit, played by The Gaffer)
- Bowen (human, played by Nuelbar)
- Seratili (dwarf, played by Nautipus)
- Bob (young hobbit, played by Nicro)

The rest of the non-responsive characters may yet be useful. I see Blossomshade, Earthshaker, Truor and Branwyn still being kept in use, that is very good.

No offense, but if Mandy had never mentioned that I was still in an RPG here I may have completely forgotten. The last couple of months have not been rough, exactly, but lots of trips and stuff have taken us far from home, and it's a freaking hell of a lot better to be back in familiar territory again. Vacation is great, but sometimes the best part of it is the homecoming. Our last trip lasted two days, two days shy of what we wanted. I had gotten an allergy cold from being in unfamiliar territory and A'mael's stuck with it too, but mine's about 10 times worse. Getting a cold in summer is like having a tornado strike at night time - you never see it coming and it runs over you like a train before you knew what hit you.

I'm lacking in the motivation department, sort of. Not sure what I can offer as far as posting when my motivations to the floor.
