no, gollum knew where bilbo came from long before he came to mordor. it was from gollum that sauron learned where baggins lived, not the other way 'round.

hint-- gollum followed bilbo after he lost his precious. it was somehwere along the route of bilbo and co.'s journey that he heard mention of bilbo's home.
