As we can see you are a Master of Stratagem... I suggest drinking some sort of protien shake and going for a nap.

I've been hunting for a DVD set of an old cartoon series for a while now only to find out they've only been released in region 1 and region 4 and my DVD player is region 2 and can't be changed. I'll never be able to see it. Fne. Greedy bastards.

Gah! Got my first hour last night! My long and glorious career of ignoring rules of residency and getting away with it is over!

At my school, we have a number of (in some cases rather silly) rules of residency. If you break them, and get caught, you can get a number of punishments, including an hour, which means you have to go work in the kitchen for an hour as punishment.

Aha. In Japan we had to do clean the kitchen in turn. So 4 or 5 times during the semester and practically every day during the vacations. Working in the kitchen for one hour doesn't sound too bad.
But what the interesting thing is: what did you do to get punished? Do tell!

Ugh... Why do linguists have to use such difficult English?! I wanna bet they make up those terms just to confuse me. If you are talking about a noun, just say so! Stop calling them animate, active and marking if you are not going to explain the darned term.
And stop bickering about which approach to use, a priori or a posteriori. They are both flawed so either come up with something better or just shut up. And if you are researching the use of a relative clause with a group of 30 Koreans, Chinese and Americans, fine, but don't dismiss the results of the Koreans "whose languages is so similar to Japanese that the results can't really be used" just like that. Then don't include them in the first place! ARGH!
See!? This is why I don't want to study linguistics beyond Second Language Acquisition course. >_< [/frustrated vent about linguistics and scholars]

Computers don't come with region-limitations as far as I know, so that might be an alternative...

It's not the working that matters; I've done work in the kitchen on a volunteer basis before. It's the spot on my record that stings!

I broke curfew; basically, Tue-Thu, one week a semester, is free of classes, because we have don rags. However, they tell us that "school life should continue as normal" (which doesn't even MEAN anything, since school life during the week is basically centered on classes), so dress code and normal curfew (11:00) still apply. Now, you can argue about having an 11 o'clock curfew in the first place, but having it when there is no class the next day is just silly...

Yep. Dry campus, too, which is why I broke curfew; it was a friends birthday, and the nearest approved drinking spot is 15-20 minutes walk into the woods.

What I really don't see any way to justify is curfew on weekends and holidays. I mean, you can make a case for a curfew on nights before class...I think I'd disagree with it, but the case could be made. This, however, is just ridiculous.

Hmm, I don't really agree. Though I can imagine it must be frustrating. >_<

Think back. A guy who looked handsome at the time. Small circular jewelry.

It's a common spell for transforming princesses into servants.

(Ahh, but in the kingdom where I live, "The greatest among you will be your servant." I'll have my mansion soon enough, where the dishes will wash themselves! )

I dunno, girlfriend.

I gotta feeling Jesus is a paperplates guy. He'll get out of doing the dishes by eliminating eating and cooking, is my guess.
