This clue has me puzzled, Grey Wolf, because all the following clues look very much like buildings and areas within Washington D.C., yet it isn't a north-western province. Am I at least right that you're clueing Washington D.C.? Because if so then I'll be better able to answer all the rest of the clues.

That would be District (Area) of Columbia (and BRITISH Columbia is Canada (North north America)'s westernmost province)
