Katya - I worked at Pizza Hut for quite some time and it was a pretty decent job.

I was a delivery driver and made really good money.

I have an intake tomorrow! If all goes well I'll finally have a job starting Monday!!! *is crying with joy*
The lady I talked to said that they really really needed people in that (my) area and she immediately looked up how much I would earn and asked about my availability and practically started planning me in. When I asked if I could do double shifts she said she'd be ever so happy if I indeed could.
This sounds like it will work out!
Let's just hope this wasn't another person just saying things and making empty promises.

OMG MUSIC THEORY IS AWESOME. O.o

Words I never thought I would say... till I sat down at the piano and started playing a song I wrote years ago... and I was wondering, "How could I compose then when I didn't know anything, and it just worked out, but only for a few songs?" then I thought, "Hey... this seems... familiar... OMG IT'S A I-IV-V-IV-I PROGRESSION!!!!!!!"

I apparently found the I-IV-V progression by ear, and made it into a kind of I7(4/2)-IV-V progression so that I could play it smoothly (A-E-A, G-D-G, F-C-F), and then I wrote several songs based off of that one progression. HAH!

So once I realized that, I went back and started improvising based off of the melodies I'd done, and I broke out of the old progression I'd created by ear and completely improved my old compositions.

YAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suddenly I'm excited about music theory, and I've never really been that way before

Woohoo! (and the best thing is: they pay me more then any of those jobs the job agencies came up with.)

EDIT: I totally forgot to tell I am happy because my aunt came from deep down south with my youngest cousin (he is 10 now) and we played all sorts of ballgames with him and a few younger kids from the neighbourhood.

I'm happy cos I've been on such a cooking streak lately, and none of them have been flops

(my favourite was the calzone stuffed with spinach pesto, buffalo mozzarella, seeded skinned tomato, hot salami sausage, and wilted baby spinach). I made everything from scratch (ie dough & pesto). Yeehaw.

I do the household for elder people who still live on their own, but can't do it all themselves any more. So lots of cleaning, some grocery shopping, that sort of stuff. I love the break times, because often these people start talking about their family, or their lives. Today's client told me about the war and the time he served in Indonesia.

And he tested my taste in music. I think I was approved
