Our beasty, post-munching mascot....This is very queer! Can you see my post in the game thread? NOO! I worked so hard on that one. You know, it occured to me. Raendil is has become a male version of me...and Marthalion has turned into my demised brother...I just noticed this, and am not sure whether to laugh or be angry...I am actually leaning on being happy. Its starting to make sense to me.

I am, but i want to know if you can see most of my posts. It happens to me, I cant see a person's posts in either thread, and then sometimes i can see it in one, but not the other.

I've been wanting to work in the word "nookie" ever since you used it, and I thought this would be the perfect time. I was going to make up some elvish-sounding root words, but I thought I would get out my "Lost Road" (HoME 5) and look up Tolkien's entymologies and see if I could somehow get something to work. I looked up the N's, went to "No", and just about died when I found that the Man Himself actually had, as the first meaning, "beget"!!!!

Here's the actual entry:

Glad you guys liked it too! I just couldn't stop giggling last night, and had to make up a reason for it for my in-laws

so while "nookie" is not an elvish word that you'll find in a Tolkien wordlist, one could certainly make up a word like that using the elvish root words that Tolkien listed. (like using "kay", you can make "kaima", bed; and by using "no-", you can make "nosse", clan)

I am glad you used my trade mark word to such effect! I am very happy with this Rpg, its almost theraputic, because i cant really talk to anyone here at home so i spill it here. And Ray did exactly as I did last night. And marty did exactly what my brother used to do on occasions that he found me dancing and singing, the exchange is exactly what my brother and I used to have...I am missing him fiercly now, but I am getting better.
