I bet that's where the Beornings come from.
You know, I have trouble pronouncing 'Beornings' without it sounding like 'Björnings'.

Yeah, I've always thought it was cool to see all the names of Norse Dwarves in Tolkien's works.

Velkommen til vårt hjem, Lótiel!

Wow, Jon! Just read that little bit of Indonesian you put in the mail to me! That's fantastic, it must be a great site! *Dances with joy* Finally, a Mooter who can write to me in Indo!

Can you tell me the link? I'd like to check it out. Is it a translator? Maybe it translates everything into the formal way of speaking, in which case you wouldn't understand my informal words (but I can get much more informal than even that )

Bagus! Bagus!

Sorry, I seem to have lost the link and I'm unable to find it.
It was not a translator, just a site with lots of useful Indonesian words and phrases.

If that's true, then it's strange because there are mistakes in those sentences. 'Praktek' is only used for 'practising medicine, law' etc, not for practising languages.

Nope, no butchering of the Swedish language in this post.

Ingen orsak!

Thanks again, Jon. You legend, mate. *Bashes self on head with mallet* Care to join me?

No, you're just so bad at making jokes (which proves what we've been saying about you...).

Apropos jokes, someone knows any good ones in their language?

To be honest... our jokes about the swedish are the same jokes that the swedish make about us. Obviously the swedish are stealing our jokes ´cause they can´t make their own!

I think it's a mix. They steal all the good ones and make all the bad ones. Typical behaviour for Swedes.

We actually have a lot of jokes about norwegians too, but I think they're all from Sweden. Like all those books with jokes! But then we often joke about swedes too..

Pekka is the name of a typical Finn.

Toivonnen som hadde forståelse for problemet utbroet:
"Jamen Pekka da! Varfor svimmde ni inte på ryggen da?!"
Pekka som hadde blitt irritert utbrøt: "Jammen broarna, Toivonen, broarna!

See the Joke Thread for a translation.
