I earne the moniker of "Bad barber" after my first game of paintball... Long and eventful story short, I went after this group of jerks who would sit in either re insurtion areas and shoot entering or leaving players in the unprotected back of their heads. Needless to say, I got rather angry when I heard about it, and got my chance at vengance when they camped out at one of our bases. I managed to dodge their volley, then let fly with a whole barrage on them. Just about emptied my hopper.

They got what I like to call my "Supreme Flying Wall", they just got a total head and neck painting. Buncha wads... Man I hate people like that. But they never showed up at our field ever again after that.

Edit: Wooot! That looks like fun Sis! Some prime paintballin' to be had!

Haha, I bet they'd frown on that.

Dang, that looks nice. I call top bunk!

I havnt earned a nickname (except in basketball: "Beast", ), but that would definately get under my skin. We generally trust to players' better sides, but when they start gettin douchely, we (generally the rest of the players on site) would generally let them have it as they were exiting the field. That'll teach ya real quick how to play nice. What would you say is you fave thing to do, strategy wise in terms of just field-ball. Playin with friends for fun, that is.

Generally, I do sniping and base possetions, for the most part, I have a few canisters of paint scattered through out the woods at different locations.

And yeah. I just let those two piles of... refuse have it that day, as well as a few of my friends also besides me opened up on them.

I generally sit back. We never did as much base snatching, we jus racked up kills. I'd go out the day before and hike around, dropping cans at the places I liked, and (if I was really gettin into the spirit of woods-ball) I'd improvise a time-table and scribble out a map for the places I'd want to be. Generally skipping over locations so I could snipe different regions relatively freely. Best thing, though, is a sniper war, in one instance I got a rival sniper from about 30 feet when he set up real close to my location. I actually sat and watched him for a minute. It was quite humoring. I shot him a few times, took out some of his team-mates and racked the can and got outa there before he Jihaded my a**. Which he was going to do when he re-deployed.

In any case, I'm goin to bed. It's past 1 here, and I got a final 2morrow. Easy, but I need some rest.

Heh, thing is, I am playing with friends all the time. My team mates are all my best buddies. And almost all of the games we play are pro or semi pro or matches. Nothin' better than banding together and painting some ass.

Edit: Nighty Naughty! *gives him a good luck smooch* You'll ace it, I'm sure.

We never went as far as that. Too much money and time to go that far along with my semi-profitable tank setups, animal transpo, and SCUBA.

But I have to agree with you there, not much better than that, but I wanted to live. I got that guy 3 more times that day. But, then again, he was kinda a douche in person, so it was even more humoring to get him. What's fun to me, is to take a small bunch of guys, let them set up however they want, familiarize themselves with the field, and then send in 3 times the opposing team fresh on the field and watch the body count rise.

Although, I'll never take someone paintballing to make friends. Doesnt really work that way, usually.

Alright, night all.

It looks lovely.

We're getting the rain I was promised, so I have seeds and plants just jumping out of the ground. And the azalea in bloom.

Not mine, but progress is being made.

Mari, do you have dogwoods? Our woods are amazing, right now.

Azalea's are very pretty. So are Rodondendrons. But those get huge so quickly!

I had to look up the Dutch for dogwood on Wikipedia (I search the English page and then have a look at the Dutch one. Works wonders for herbs, plants and other words you won't usually find in a dictionary )
I recognize the Dutch word and I know it can be used as an herb, but I'm not sure I've ever seen it in tree-form. Apparently there's also a bush-form and I think I might have seen that.
Is it big? Must smell great!
If you ever have time, take some pics!

They're delicate understory plants. Those, the redbuds, and the wild apple blossoms are in full bloom in the woods right now.

and gardens

The wild types of azalea and rhodies don't get as big. Of course, it depends on where they're planted, too. This is one of my favorites.
