No Riddler for now, please...or Catwoman. I'd like them to open up some of the lesser-known (to movie audiences) villains. Heck, I'd be willing to see a Rhas Al Ghul return.

And Acally, while Rachel (invented for the movies) is the only woman Bruce Wayne ever cared for, the only woman Batman ever cared for is Talia Al'Ghul .
The lesser known ones would be awesome.

Um, who was Talia Al'Ghul? *feels dumb for asking this* I love Batman but my dad wouldn't let me touch his comics

Talia is the daughter of Rhas Al'Ghul. You need to check out some volumes of the Batman: The Animated Series on dvd. Quite good.

Saw Mamma Mia! with some of my friends yesterday. It was... unique and kinda corny, but it was still pretty good, actually.

I guess this might not be a spoiler, but just in case...
I hated the part at the very end where everyone was dancing in spandex suits. Especially Sky in his pink/purple deep-vee suit. *shudders* I wasn't the onjly one disturbed by it, my friends were too.

Hehe, that was meant as making fun of the clothes they wore when Abba was big. Just look at a few pictures of Abba from back then
I thought it was hilarious, though indeed slightly disturbing.

Nauti was right about Dragon Wars. It was corny and really didn't have a point but to display how stupid people are. "Let;s run into the long dark cave and see if our AK47's can hurt the giant snake and maybe it won't eat us!"

And the creatures were so stupid looking they were comical. I'm really glad I didn't spend the $7 to see it in theatres

Rumor has it Batman's next foe is Riddler

And it has passed the $400 mil mark

Folks, The Dark Knight is now the #3 top-grossing movie in American film history. It is coming very near to beating Star Wars (1977).

The Mummy - Really great and funny! I want to see the other Mummy movies!

The Prestige - It was confusing because of the flashbacks/flashforwards, and it was just weird near the end, but overall it was pretty good.

I saw The Other Boleyn Girl a few weeks ago.. It was pretty good. It followed the book ok and I loved Natalie Portman in it. Eric Bana was also good...

I love that film.
Especially the fountain he makes. It's so pretty!

The Bourne Supremacy - Really good. Great action sequences.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - So good! There were some funny parts in it, like the first Mummy movie, too. Now I just need to see the second one...

Sleuth - the 2007 version with Michael Caine and Jude Law.

Absolute crap.

(Disclaimer- saw the original Anthony Shaeffer production in the West End in 1972- just had to drop that in )

The 1972 version, with Michael Caine in the Jude Law role and Lawrence Olivier in the Michael Caine role was great, and the new one opened quite well. After about twenty minutes- in the first big confrontation scene- it went off the rails, and continued to go downhill, substituting a silly homoerotic theme for the clever and vicious mind games of the original. Two thumbs down.

Saw Tropic Thunder.

Some gag moments were funny, but certainly not the best comedy of 08.

The Queen, with Helen Mirren as HRH Elizabeth II. GREAT movie. If you haven't seen this movie, you really need to. Wonderful. And what I really liked was the absence of crappy melodramatic hyped dialogue. This movie is as real as you could wish for in a cinematic masterpiece. And masterpiece it is!

Also: only one F-bomb and a few Ds. Otherwise, completely clean! Amazing feat for a Miramax film.

I came in part way through it a couple of weeks ago, and I actually thought it was really good. Then again, I didn't see the first one, so maybe you're just spoiled.

Hector, I do believe you mean "HM Elizabeth II", not "HRH". Get your royals straight, man!

It can't work for both. Her Royal Highness? I do remember in the film saying Diana was "no longer an HRH."

Anyways, mr. snooty pants , I have a review of Brideshead for you here: http://www.weeklystandard.com/Conten...5/442efusc.asp

(spoilers, though it might not mean much since you know the book.)
