OMG! Huge excitement. Today I was practicing for just a few minutes between work and school and I got the back of my tongue to "lift" (I.e. remain level and not push back down into my throat) for a little bit.
This is so exciting!!! If I can keep doing it when I practice and start making it happen :, it'll turn into a huge breakthrough. |

I have a tentative excitement.... I think I'm switching majors.
Still a business degree, so I can graduate on the same timeframe, BUT I think I'm going to switch to Human Resources or General Business because I'm not sure what I was thinking when I picked A.) The second hardest major in the school of business, and B.) Something I'm absolutely horrible at. I'm terrible at Accounting and Finance, but somehow I was like, "NO IT'S FINE, I CAN DO THIS," but I pretty much can't take it any more. Soooooooooooo fingers crossed, you guys. I think I would be -SO- much happier with a different business degree, something which caters to my people skills rather than fights against my poor math skills. |

It certainly sounds like a better idea.

If your math skills are poor, and something more geared at people suits you better, a change might not be such a bad idea.
Although I have to say, judging by what I've' seen of HR courses (and managers), they won't necessarily contain anything useful. And the job market might be better for accountancy, mind.

True enough. Neither my sister or I ended up in the field of our education.

got the results for the final thyroid nodule - benign! yay!!!
However, I have Hashimoto's disease of the thyroid, but it's very treatable. Now we can finally start some treatment now that we know it's not cancer. I have to get a pap smear and a mammogram first, though - yuck!

I'm so glad to hear that, Rian! Even though there are still some yucks first , it's so good that you can finally get treatment.

Of course you of all people have to have one of the rarer thyroid problems... ( )
So glad the lump is benign though! *jumps up and down*

Rian - great news! I've been watching the updates, and praying, without really posting about it. I wanted to see what these later outcomes would show. I won't be surprised if many others here have kept you in their prayers and thoughts, without saying so. For each one to post accordingly - there may be another 10-20 on your side!

I have a job interview next Thursday.
I was already starting to wonder if I'd be jobless next August.
