I know; that's wonderful, Janny! Which Uni is it? There's M.I.T. but that's here in the U.S., in Boston I think.

I am happy because my boyfriend finally got a new house and now we don't have to live in the hotel any longer, and I can brew my own coffee and putter about in a kitchen again. Now all I need is a little Christmas tree...

Thasnk Lotesse. It's Oxford, Brasenose College to be precise. Cambridge is supposed to be better for maths, but I really don't care, getting a place at Oxford has been an ambition for quite a while now.

yeah ...go oxford!

Stuffy bunch over there at Cambridge. (though technically better for maths, agreed)

well done.

Lotesse - so glad you finally get to potter about the kitchen and brew your coffee etc: hotels are souless to live in.

I quite enjoyed cooking for me mum this weekend; (she's just out of hospital) made a lovely lamb casserole: was fun flamboyently tossing the onions up and over in the pan, listening to some jazz, drinking wine ...chopping and humming away ... very relaxing ...

Lies, lies... mwaha! Oxford is the greatest university in the world... now let's not specify subjects or time frames.

Only the 'technically better at maths, agreed'. We are agreed, but I not saying so. Except then. But I'm not. Because Oxford is the greatest university in the world. Except maths, when it seems to be Cambridge but, as I said, due to circumstance, I don't agree.

See, clear as mud.

HAH! I'm a retard, but a happy retard at this point .

I've never been able to sing even my middling high notes at church, but I could do them about half the time at home, and almost every time at my voice lesson.

So today I just say down at the piano and said, "What the heck is going on here?!"

Then I ran some scales and ta-da: the light came on. All along I've been singing the high notes like high notes--high Chest notes. I need to sing them like low HEAD notes. I never realized till this evening just how early my head voice cuts in.

Now with a few more days I'm sure I can nail down the sensation I had tonight for when to switch my voice over, and I should be able to handle singing them in church. Hooray!

I'm happy 'cause Ive already got nine days as a non-smoker! Yep, looks like I've finally quit the cigs for good, SO happy about that. Those patches are the bomb! It's really nice, being a non-smoker, there's SO many benefits. I'm lovin' it!

I'm glad for you . Are there any health issues with patches? I'm curious, for I'm really unfamiliar with them.
