Strange, isn't it? We start a thread intending to make fun of people who want to "help us overcome our addictions to Tolkien," and we end up getting hooked by the game, as well! What an wonderful vicious cycle... I totally agree. "Silmarillion," watch out! Beren, Luthien, Turin, and even the Valar will never be the same!

The silmarillion will be a little more difficult because most of them are shorter stories and have different characters. But.... the prospect of no more TLA is too scary...
Happy birthday Willow!

Very Happy Birthday Maggie/Merry/Willow!
Won't the Silmarillion take FOREVER, though? Can we really all stay that long? Yes... I thought so, too.

I say we take the entire thing at once. That way we have plenty of characters to go around and we won't have to break the story line somuch. Besides, we'd be doing a parody, we could make up whatever we wanted in order to connect the stories.
edit: Whee! I'm 16! It is indeed a very happy birthday!

So how do we go from here? Do the Smaugettes go with Smaugatt the Golden to trash Lake Town or do they stay in the Mountain and have a fight with the TLA'ers when they come to the lair? We could also let the Smaugettes go with Smaugatt but let them survive her defeat and come back to battle the TLA'ers who by then have taken over the dragon's lair. What do you think?
