you need to input the address of the link into the URL section, not the attachment section of the avatar management bit.

I'm thinking that I should use a new avvie, but I'm kinda stuck for ideas...
Help would be nice.
Maybe something with a tree or flower...
I'll try to be more specific as I come up with an idea...but, I welcome suggestions.

Here are some flowers...I did them fast, don't feel obliged to use them at all.

edit: woah...since when is this post "a duplicate of another" and where the heck are my attachments? It says they are on the 'moot (hence not reposting them) yet I don't see them anywhere

editII: if I go to manage attachments it says they are "in progress"--I deleted others so there should be space around.

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of Laurelin....I've tried finding good pictures of her...no luck so far...

Maybe I'll have to exercise my drawing skills when I have free time and I'm at the library. But, If anyone can find a good pic of a tree...and put a sun in the background, that would be very lovely.

Oh, I've been getting weird "duplicate post" messages today, as well...and I know El has been having issues, too....maybe it's the Moot...

I'm not sure what you mean by the ones admins made, but for any Mooter to change their avatar, you go to User CP > Edit Avatar.

There you have a choice of entering a URL (if I make you one just ask and I'll give it to you), or uploading it from your computer.

If you go the upload from your computer, first you have to have saved it to your computer. Then you click the "browse" and find the avatar, where you saved it, select it, and upload, and voila! Your avatar.

So, you want an avvie?
