Oh, all right *grumble grumble*

I might turn them back into town, then.

Gordis - I doubt if Aiwendis would start a conversation with an elf, and RÃ*an wouldn't start one with the Chancellor's daughter for various reasons, so I guess we'll just wait quietly for the professor. Unless you want to start a conversation for other reasons...

note - I found an interesting inscription on an ancient sword while I was surfing - I think I'll put it on Tyaron's sword - it went, "Do not draw me without reason; do not sheath me without honor." Cool!

Nothing is wrong with the ear joke. I just don't see what Khamûl did to be in charcter. After his conversation he is keen to avoid any violence for now. Neccesar or not. But if you really want to keep it, then go ahead.

BB, Nice post... I see Udu will have good friends at the Uni.

Looking forward to your drinking contest!

How about Constable BB? Will he talk to Zimra alone, or with Galadannun, Penny and Lilly as well?

Gor ... yeah the character info in the street is fine.

how you getting on with drake?

Do we saddle up and practice noose knots?

mind you from the posts i have read of his/hers i wouldn't have thought he/she meant anything by it other than not thinking ... but yeah i'd be not best pleased myself .... you have digitally created the image sufficiently in my opinion to claim ownership -

any update then on the Sir francis files? .. or is he/she still playing bowls?

** edit:

what after he has given a friendly wave to Lilly?

probably talk to zimra alone first ... he's going slow on account of tact not being his fortey (*looks around can't see CS* )

Say la vie!

"saddle up and practice noose knots" hehehe, I'd like to see fat old bumbledoor and barli try to hoist themselves onto a horse, that would be amusing.

better watch out, they went on a drunken horse race earlier this morning on a pair of donkeys - just after dawn ... be VERY embarising if THEY ended up winning the race!!

it'd be a bit chilly, though , he'd need bear-skin knee length slippers, surely?

and eeeyore, may not be too happy!

plus he's drunk and only has one eye ... in the last of the dissipating fog ... let's hope he didn't forget his long johns!! ...or his dressing gown!

that'd frighten the watch!

Cause nightmare for sure...Here you go BB, Its in the post I put up now.

Quote:

Hmm...I knew she'd show. The track is in excellent condition, exactly the way it suits us best...but...what the hell... Ray ever so slightly shook his head to try and figure out the little riddle. By Sauron's Snot, I SWEAR, those were DONKEY hoof prints, and it looked like they were running full bore with something mighty heavy on them, but how the heck could that be? Drunken donkey races? After a silent laugh, he dismissed these thoughts for later.

oh, you should have Bumble win, Sane! That would be brilliant! Have him accidentally come up on a donkey and cut into the course and come in first But I don't know how you'd work the spear part, thought ... and I don't know why he would be out at dawn ... but it was a fun idea

I have written to him yesterday, but got no answer.
I will write again tomorrow. No, I don't think it were premeditated or something. But still, I want him to chose another avvie. I will suggest making another for him myself . If he doesn't reply at all, I will start complaining in earnest.

Sir francis Drake ... defeater of the spanish armada .. famously finished playing bowls at plymouth - or portsmouth? as they approached and amidst incessant admiralty officials buzzing around him (allegedly trying to get him to get a move on0 but mainly just putting him off his game .... can't remember if he won or not (at bowls) ...

that made me laugh!

great, you actually posted it! .. i'll see if Serenoli wants to have a flashback later at the singing swan

yeah maybe around the witching hour ... if you find a collapsed donkey after the race with either jas's wine notebook or any of bumble's juggling knives - maybe it'll jog their memories ..

Shah, that Beginning Race post was definitely one of THE best posts yet, in the whole RPG. Excellent writing!! So good. I have definitely got a tough act 2 follow here. I'll post Viv's thoughts in tandem to your action ASAP. Has everyone read it? You guys better read it!! It's page 24, post #476.

Gordis - I would be a fire-filled tornado of rage if someone hijacked MY avvie, and I didn't even digitally enhance or artistically alter mine. I hope you get justice! He/she better give it up. I think they probably would, when reasoned with. If not, petition your case to the admins; I would if I were you. That's just WRONG to steal someone else's custom avvie, on the SAME FORUM no less.
