I had goose jerky this morning at our office 'coffee' session this morning. Pretty good....I'll refrain from the obvious jokes...[shifty eyes at Spock]

Anyway, you english people, and people who've been there, have you tasted caramel shortbread? Thats the BOMB! Oh man. They're so amazingly delightfull.

You people are making me hungry... maybe because it's dinner time and none of the food I have in the house seems very appetising right now...

Goose jerky? How'd that taste? I've had some odd stuff in my time, but goose jerky is not one of them. GAH! I AM GETTING HUNGRY!
*Stealthily sneaks up behind EarthBound while she is giving shifty eyes to spock, then dodges and lifts some goose jerky from the table*

I've never really liked caramel actually...I always thought it was kinda nasty.

There's something wrong with you. How can ANYone actually think caramel is kinda nasty? That's like thinking a ferrari is kinda ugly looking, or something. Here's a 1962 Ferrari 250 SWB California Spyder, to refer to.

All caramel (sp?)? Some types of it I find pretty nasty too, mostly the fancy chewy stuff that tastes somehow sharp. But the melty stuff and the sweetness inside Twix bars are excellent.
Pytt, that happens to me a lot. I think you really have to know what to expect when you try some new food, or else you're more likely to hate it. Also, just out of curiosity, was it thick or more runny? When I make my own, I use the minimum amount of water that will soak up every oat, and wind up with this great gunk, but last week my friend walked out of his house in the morning with what looked like a bowl of quicksand, and I had never even imaginged that people would prefer it that way. People are weird.

Nighty TB, may you dream of good food and not drool all over your pillow.
(blekh, My brother used to do to that all the time when we went camping, and we always shared a tent and had one of those really long pillows, instead of two seperate ones...)

It's warm here, it's like 69 degrees fahrenheit or something, and it's like ten-thirty PM. Ahh, Southern California.
