Oh my goodness. I am reading through (and correcting >_<) the parts of my groupmates for the project I have to write a conclusion on.
IF you deem it sensible/necessary to copy and paste parts from the Internet, AT LEAST be smart enough to rephrase things and edit it so the lay-out is the same!
And what do they teach these kids in secondary school anyway? Their Dutch is terrible!
*goes back to correcting while muttering darkly*

hmm. feeling a bit disappointed now.

to be able to sometime graduate from my wildlife guide school, i need to specialise in two fields. i've been hoping for survival technique, hiking and the archipelago specialisation (skating in the winter, kayaking in the summer) - any combination of two of those three. it's a really small school, so they organize at most two specialisations a year, and this year they were planning on having a "summer hiking" specialisation, which would involve climbing and hiking around europe. i was really, really looking forward to it, and i've saved money for it.. and now only 5 people had signed up, so they can't organise it. :/ i was already dreaming of seeing the alps and climbing in norway.. those were my summer plans, apart from work.

i guess this just means i'll have to organise some hikes for myself. it's just so hard to find people who you can plan this sort of thing with, since everyone is working and not all like walking around in difficult terrain with 25 kg of stuff on their backs.. going alone is an option, but not a wise one - at least not in areas where i've never been before, and not for a long time. hmm.

i'll be in a more optimistic mood soon.

How about finding out who those other 4 people who signed up are? Maybe you can organize something together?

We sang eleven performances over the course of five days, three of those performances being today, but now the choir tour is over. It was GREAT. I love it.

I'm just venting because I wont have a day of vocal rest till Monday, and then I have to get right back into the swing of things for my voice lesson on Tuesday. Five days of being on tour through the Rio Grande valley, then a wedding service tomorrow, then three mass services on Sunday. If I can still sing with any control at all by the end of the last service on Sunday, I will go worship my voice teacher for the techniques he's taught me. :P

I am so exhausted (physically and mentally) but I know if I lie down right now, I'm going to throw my whole sleeping pattern off and I wont do that because then that's going to make this weekend a regular pain in the rear with trying to get things back together. And I'm so tired that I know I wont be able to just nap. The next time I lie down, I'm not getting up for another eight or nine hours :P.

I just spent $115 on a GPS because I went out to get my hair cut at a place I'd never been before... and the directions on the website landed me in the middle of a neighborhood and then I got turned around and it was 45 minutes before I got back to the right road.

I am so freaking angry with myself because I get lost ALL THE TIME because I can't seem to follow directions in reverse, or I'll see a street that I'm absolutely sure that I know, and it turns out I either head in the wrong direction, or I'm thinking of another street I know of.

So I'm throwing money at my stupidity and hoping it fixes it. Yay. I am so freaking exhausted.

Gah, I'm such a total idiot, thinking the kitten will know better than to bite me. If I know I have to be careful about handling the psychopuss when the introduce-cats-to-one-another-session isn't going smoothely, why didn't I do the same with the newcomer who's clearly loaded with hormones? Well, I got the cuts and bandages I deserved. Idiot!

It's a tom-tom, since those are supposed to be the best on the market ATM for the price range/features. I got the slightly more expensive one because it will say, "turn left after 30 feet at Oak Street," or what have you rather than just, "turn left after 30 feet."

And then, as you are driving along this lake on your right side, it will tell you "TURN HERE RIGHT HERE! TURN HERE RIGHT HERE!"

I don't trust those things

We don't need it, because we've got Mom-Mom and because my dad gets a nervous wrecking trying not to scream at the GPS when there's a roadblock or something.
My dad doesn't like being told what to do
Come to think of it, neither do I.

1. woke up exhausted because I still haven't had a day of rest since going on choir tour.
2. got a flat tire on the way home from school
3. had to wrangle the school/students I'm supposed to be teaching TODAY from my boss
4. found out that I got passed over for a small ensemble piece in favor of a freshman... and yes, his voice probably is better than mine.
5. now I have to actually go teach, and I'm thisclose to dropping dead.

So tomorrow I have to hit the bank, sign up for TMEA, get my tire fixed/changed, voice lesson, attend a three hour orientation for my student observations for my IDS class, and I still need to figure out where I'm supposed to be teaching tomorrow because my boss is so freaking not on top of things that I literally believe a 15 year-old could do a better job than he is.

What part of, "E-mail me a list of the schools I'll be doing, and the students who have already signed up," is impossible to understand? So impossible that he only sent me ONE of the schools.

I'm going to cry when this is all over.

On the other hand, I would rather be doing this than anything else in the world. So go figure. A little rest every once in a while would be nice, though.

I may quit this job if it doesn't get fixed in short order.

He promised me at least three schools, and I basically had to wrangle out of him tonight that he actually only has ONE school for me at the moment. Well we're how many weeks into the school year now? You couldn't get it figured out a little faster?

Plus whatever happened to giving me established schools? This is a start-up school, which I was assured I wouldn't have to do. I don't mind the fact that it's a start up except for the fact that I was told I wouldn't be given start-ups.

At least that explains why he only sent me the information for one school.

I think I'm going to give him two weeks to fix this, and if he doesn't, I'm out. I can't handle this man's disorganization. Better to work 15 hours a week at an HEB than get continually screwed over by this guy. I am so frustrated right now.

I'm not 100% following this, Tess, but I got "Boss is idiot, hate him."

I hate him for you, too.

No, the last thing I'd need is a kitten with a bacterial infection. Just imagine, a small, fast and sharp-nailed biohazard!

But I'm currently sporting about five band-aids on my right hand.

Vicious kitteh. >_<

EDIT: I meant Earn's kitty, not kitty Sane... though I'm sure Sane can also be very vicious. Though I think she's kawaii...
