Oatmeal... Didn't taste really good, but that was before I knew what it meant in Norwegian. I guess is maybe good?

Anyway, you english people, and people who've been there, have you tasted caramel shortbread? Thats the BOMB! Oh man. They're so amazingly delightfull.

I love caramel shortbread! It's so good! This guy looks like he's licking his lips, as I am right now

And if oatmeal is the same as porridge I love that too, with honey on top on a winter morning...

Goose jerky? How'd that taste? I've had some odd stuff in my time, but goose jerky is not one of them. GAH! I AM GETTING HUNGRY!

There's something wrong with you. How can ANYone actually think caramel is kinda nasty? That's like thinking a ferrari is kinda ugly looking, or something. Here's a 1962 Ferrari 250 SWB California Spyder, to refer to.

All caramel (sp?)? Some types of it I find pretty nasty too, mostly the fancy chewy stuff that tastes somehow sharp. But the melty stuff and the sweetness inside Twix bars are excellent.

Pytt, that happens to me a lot. I think you really have to know what to expect when you try some new food, or else you're more likely to hate it. Also, just out of curiosity, was it thick or more runny? When I make my own, I use the minimum amount of water that will soak up every oat, and wind up with this great gunk, but last week my friend walked out of his house in the morning with what looked like a bowl of quicksand, and I had never even imaginged that people would prefer it that way.

People are weird.

lol!! when I read this was actually just now - (just got back from dinner, ho- boy I am wine-buzzed) but aniwaiy, as i was saying when I read this i cracked up: bowl of quicksand!!! Here, here is an oatmeal pic for you unbelievers out there.As you can plainly see, there is nothing to be afraid of. But with this piccy one must sort of mentally imagine brown sugar (or honey) melting over the top of the oatmeal, then sweet fresh cream drizzled over it after that. As a sort of genteel aferthought of sorts. Quite nice, and quite oh, shall I say, civilised?
