Waffles coming right up Pyttie! They're Swedish ones, with strawberry sauce and fresh whipped cream. Mmmmmm.... Hey, I didn't notice it was your birthday... heh... Because it's your B-day you get a complimentary hot chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, and a box of Pocky to stir it. EDIT: I'm making baked beans tonight, with a recepie I made up somewhat randomly. If it turns out well I'll post it in the Cooking and Food thread. But it basically goes like this... Kidney beans, crushed tomatoes, tobasco sauce, curry (dash), salt and pepper (to taste). Then I'm going to bake it until the beans are soft and cooked through. I'm guessing 20 - 30 minutes... It sounds good anyway. I may also mince an onion into that, or fry up some small pieces of pork and put that in. I like baked beans anyway. (Even though I don't think I've ever had real baked beans.)

Now I want some waffles. Darn it!
Well my bean thing turned out pretty well, but I didn't know that after soaking the beans overnight (which I did) you have to boil them for 45 minutes. Then you can bake them. Oh well, it was still pretty tasty.

LCoU. Those arent called waffles. Those are little pieces of heaven. Well more mdeium pieces. Technically they could be large pieces depending on how big heaven is if in fact there is one. But holly cow. I think I could eat 20 of those but I wont try. My grandma makes those except for the coffee part but she makes them with one more pancake. Ugh I think I wanna die thinking about them.

However, coffee, chocolate, cream and waffles/pankakes is probably the one of the finest unions of food. EVER. I'm adding that to the menu. You can have what Chrys described with either pancakes or waffles.

I wish they'd hurry up and decide (hockey). They aren't going to do sales-wise next year, or whenever they make up they're minds.

I won't grammar nazi your spelling since you hurt your arms, but do you mean cricket or croquet? Both are quite fun IMO. (At least to play. I'm not much of a sports watcher, barring live games - especially university-level hockey.)
Ballroom dancing is cool but it's not a sport! I love watching all different kinds of dance - ballet, hip hop, Irish dancing, modern... and though they're all physically demanding and requiring skill and grace (like sports) they aren't sports because success is determined by artistic merit, not points, record-breaking like in real sports. Then there's those sports that aren't real sports. Their sports status is much debated because they are 50% technical skill and 50% artistic merit. This includes martial arts (at least forms divisions, but sparring as well to a certain degree), and figure skating. Figure skating is a sport at which the athlete's success is hugely determined by artistic merit.
