You mean a green avatar that says,"Bring back green and yellow"? If that is the one you are talking about, then we had those becasue of the april fools day joke. We made an army to get rid of the blue and black board skins. And the sig and avatar was part of our uniform.

You know, someone should start a thread for people who were once fangirls and have seen the light, and are now embarassed of all their old fangirl-ish posts...except that there wouldn't be any posts on there. Except me. Oh well...

Fangirls Anonymous. Might have possibilities. But I fear that those who still are plagued might take it over.

I'm still an official Fangirl and proud of it. There will always be a reason to be a fangirl. If I'll be a mother one time, I'll be the fangirl of my children.

I don't think I'll ever stop being a fan.
Today I was looking up a word in the dictionary and came across the word bilbo (did you know it means a bar with shackles on it; it also means a sword) I then spent the next 10 min. or so looking up other names to see if they might possibly have a meaning. I found pippin (it means many varieties of apples). When I went back to my studies, I couldn't remember what I was originally clearing. Oh, well, it was worth it.

I knew about Bilbo, but not Pippin. Though naturally I knew Peregrin...
I wonder if Tolkien knew about those? Or did he, as he said was the custom for male Hobbit-names, merely make up words, and they happened to coincide with those other words?
