Speaking of dreams, I had this one where I thought I saw a spider right above me as I slept. It was about 6 inches around, one big dangerous looking badass spider like a Wolf Spider or something! Then I looked again after I must have woken up from the dream, and saw nothing. It was so vivid, though. Oh, this was years ago I had this dream.

So..... my dog just tried to do something very inappropriate to my arm. O_o

Suddenly I'm having second thoughts about this whole sharing a bed thing we've been doing the last few years. She's never done that before! It kind of startled the crap out of me.

Sleep lightly tonight, 'mooters. Because if there is any lesson to be gleaned from this moment... it's that you never know when someone you trust may attempt to take liberties with your arm. o_O

Well, when you share a bed, it only stands to reason that something will, eventually, happen...

"And we're back on M.O.O.T. 102,2 with the Moots playing this Rolling Stones classic slightly changed..."

I can't get no Mootisfaction
I can't get me no Mootisfaction
And i try and i try and i try t-t-t-t-try try
I can't get no i can't get me no
When i'm posting on the Moot
And a man comes into the Cafe
He's tellin' me more and more
About some useless information
Supposed to fire my imagination
I can't get no uh no no no
Hey hey hey that's what i post
I can't get no Mootisfaction
I can't get me eloquent discussion
When i'm threading my way
And moot'r chat with me
How the colour green gets me
But he can't be a mooter
'cause he does not smoke
The same cigarettes as me
And when i'm flying around the world
And i'm doin' this and i'm tryin' do that
And i'm trying to make some Moot'r
Tells me proppie, better come back later next week
Can't you see i'm on a losing streak

It's nice knowing that we have a radio station to listen to that has our own band and is tailored to us.

When I found myself in a similar situation with my cat I told him three things: 1: Wrong species. 2: The age difference was never going to make it work either. 3: I'll be making the appointment with the vet tomorrow. Time for snip snip.

He never tried it again.

Bwaaaaaaaahh! My last week at work! Well, I'll be buzzing there even after it. Especially at the Art club, Myrsky ("Storm"), until my civil service training begins. And after that as well, since if I get the place I desire, the service won't start until July.
Also, I got myself a new keyboard! Music aplenty. A lot better than that old toy of mine.
Earn, I almost began laughing aloud when I read the "snip snip"... LOL.

How did you manage that, dear? (Is it alright for men to say "dear" like this to women?)

Cheer up, you've still got 9 unhurt fingers. I guess.

In my experience, saying "dear" like that to women is one of the more honorable things that men can say. Of course, saying something with the wrong attitude can make anything bad, but if men have the wrong attitude, they're more likely to use other words than "dear".

This could be just a thing that is in the Midwest United States, though. I've no other experience than here.

A window bit on mine, as I was closing it. Oh dear.

Well, nine unhurt fingers is almost as good as ten.

"And we're back on M.O.O.T. 102,2 with the Moots playing this Wilson Pickett tune especially adapted for Midge..."

I'm gonna wait til the C hour
That's when my love comes tumblin' down
I'm gonna wait 'til the Midge-nighthour
When there's no one else around
I'm gonna take you girl and hold you
And do all the things I told you
In the Midge-nighthour

Yes I am, oh, yes, I am

Verse 2:

I'm gonna wait 'til the stars come out
And see that twinkle in your eyes
I'm gonna wait 'til the Midge-nighthour
That's when my love begins to shine
You're the only girl I know
That really loves me so
In the Midge-nighthour
Oh, yeah, in the Midge-nighthour

Instrumental:

[repeat verse 1]

Just you and I... oh, baby, hah!
Just you and I... nobody around, baby, just you and I
All right... you know what?
I'm gonna hold you in my arms...
Just you and I, oh yeah
In the Midge-nighthour
Oh, baby, in the Midge-nighthour [fade]

I always feel it can go both ways: either it's an endearment or it's a bit patronizing. Of course it can also be both
It feels different again if someone says 'dear Mari'.
What can I say? I feel language.

Don't worry about using it on me though, Noble. I know how it's meant

Denied, as far as I am concerned. But then, I'm not really a lady, either.
