I'm sure bored.
I should have packed more than one CD for this trip. Why didn't I?

Oh, wait, I almost forgot!
*opens panel on jukebox and adds some tabs to the record*
We now have a Phil Harris section, plus one for OTR shows.
*cues up Phil Harris's most famous song, "The Bare Necessities," then of course "The General and his Horse."*

EDIT: I know I am reply #666 (post#667). I don't want to hear it! People are too superstitious. If they were ever right, the world wouldn't have made it through it's first year after forming.

I have a highly random question to ask. If the female parent of a child starved herself badly, would that prove an impediment to breast feeding?

Hey, Pytt, nice to see you back. We're back from the land of the Trolls and it was beautiful with perfect weather; unusual for this time of year.

I'm pretty sure it would. I know someone who's research breast feeding a bit; I'll ask him.

by 'starving herself badly' ... i take it you don't mean eating a lot of fast food and deserts and drinking beer and fatty drinks?

Let's at least consider the Tea Cup for lite banter and conversation.

Serious subjects deserve their own threads.

Now, if I can stomach some tea and a chocolate donut......hmmmmmm

Okay, I think Lief meant 'starving herself badly' literally. As in, not getting enough food to be in a good and healthy condition... and in that case, the answer is definitely yes. Her milk will stop.

Is it just me that it's obvious? No offense meant to anyone.

It might be because I'm a woman. I don't have kids yet, though.

However, I had to look up 'impediment' to have a full understanding of the question...

And Spock, maybe this question is not 'light' enough for the Teacup, as you say... but definitely not enough for a separate thread, IMO. What could be discussed about it?

Hot chocolate machine is up and running, as ever.

BB, cheers.

heh LA! , Prost! Cheers! Bottom's up!

yes, well, but you know how these things acquire lives of their own Addy!

you could have a 1,000 post discussion about anything hereabouts ...

( i had to curtail at least 3 wildly inappropriate thoughts on the subject just now already!!

you heard da man - this is the teacup.

so... what's your tipple this fine evening?

best, BB

Hey BB!!

Hm, well maybe you're right.

My tipple?... hmm. I think I'll go with that red wine too. Not a great wine expert; but I trust whatever's in the Teacup.
