I added a good quote I ran across regarding the unity of the Church:

"Just as at the Incarnation Christ was fully human and fully divine, without sacrificing either nature, so too must the Church, as Christ’s Mystical Body, be a perfect union of the visible and the invisible.

I remembered that St. Paul had asked somewhere in his epistles the question “Is Christ divided?” (see 1 Cor. 1:13). Of course, the answer was no."

I changed my signature (again). It's from a song 'in the year 2525'. Somehow it always reminded me of Middle-earth.

Quote:
Now it's been ten thousand years, Man has cried a billion tears.
For what he never knew, now man's reign is through.

But through eternal night, the twinkling of starlight.
So very far away... maybe it's only yesterday.

We like the moon! starring those weird little rat things from the Quiznos commercials. This actually came first, before Quiznos used them for their ad campaign. Enjoy.

"I can't do what ten people tell me to do, so I guess I'll remain the same" is a line from the song "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" by Otis Reading. Always loved that line. Will have it on my headstone. (Nice irony, that...)

Just added a quote (and removed some old stuff) from Calvin and Hobbes, "There is nothing in the world as silent as snow" in Norwegian. If anybody could give me the original quote in English I'd be most grateful.

I think you might know what it is: "There is nothing in the world as silent as snow."

Well then the Norwegian translation is much better than the original. It's the name of one of the Calvin & Hobbes albums.

I've just realized that I probably have the oldest sig in Entmoot. I've had that quote from the begining.

... and I do not know why should I change it.

What does it look like? The only ones I can think of that involve snow are Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster Snow Goons and It's a Magical World which has a picture of Calvin and Hobbes in the snow on the front. I'm a Calvin and Hobbes freak, btw.

Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster Snow Goons is my favorite Calvin and Hobbes book, especially the series of events when he creates the original snow goon. I wish i could get enough snow here to make killer snow goons

So am I. I think it is Magical world...but that doesn't sound half as good as "Der er intet i verden så stille som sne"
