Meh, I got invited, so did my dad. Can't stand the cold or dithering around in DC.

The invite cards were really pretty though, I think I'll keep it. Either that or hawk it on ebay. Wonder what many Obamaniacs would pay for it?

The piece was mostly an arrangement of the song "Simple Gifts", a traditional American folk tune.

Thanks, it was very good. And tasty. I hadn't anticipated the many gastronomic experiences. I was in Poland for a couple of days first. Spent a day in Milan on the way back home. Had spent most of my money already though, so I couldn't invest in some new Milanese fashion wear. That would have been sweet.
