Yes, Earniel, and don't forget to dance with the charming Chancellor.
![]() TD Excellent post. No nothing to change. Aiwendis is pretty in character. The only problem is that I don't know whether Udu would agree to go to Orrodel or not. ![]() We shall see. Great villian, Khamul! |

ok, good points, Gordis - I'll plan on heading back for the night unless Khamul tells me otherwise during the reception.
TD - could you please put some blank lines in your posts between paragraphs or breaks? It makes it a lot easier to read ![]()

Rian Think well before choosing. It will be the night of a great nazgul meeting at Orrodel.
![]() Interesting about Val. He drank the potion about 8 PM. According to the Morgul Lord, who knows such things ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Gordis : 10-19-2005 at 06:40 PM. |

![]() TD - Great writing! However, I was a bit reluctant to allow Viv to speak so freely about Lil * Pen's spell to Khamul - Viv would have been much more vague; she would have wanted to protect Lil especially from angry, cruel lashback from Khamul, plus she figures Khamul's an adult & a man enough to take it in stride, since it wasn't a truly painful spell - a trifling one, and brief at that, nothing to make him crazy with anger. Anyway.
![]() ![]() Crazy Squirrel - I really, really enjoyed your latest post! Funny, with the frying pan episode! ![]() Everyone - Again, I am constrained with computer accessibility as well as actual time; I just started a new job which exhausts me & takes a lot of my time (I just now got off, and came here to the library to try and catch up here with Nazguls). So, I still have to read everything, and I've only got a half hour left on this computer. ![]() Man oh man, I am SO tired right now.

Awful to have to go to the library when you need to be on the computer. I know other people that, for one reason or another, lost their online access and had to go to the library. Look on the bright side. What if there were no libraries? Don't even want to think about that! BB - Sorry to hear that you are feeling bad. I hear there is this bad bug going around the university that has unusual effects. Hope it is not that. ![]() Last edited by Udukhaturz : 10-19-2005 at 08:01 PM. |

BB - I saw that you have Elmirphud being out of town... too bad! I was hoping I could shake off Malaphel onto him!
![]() Gordis - OK, I'll try to post for Oreturion. I thought I was doing so well... getting in some good posts for Val anyway, but I guess I gave myself a lot to do. I had in mind something for when he was leaving, but maybe I'll work one in now. I hope this evening won't end before Valandil gets to dance with Earniel... Earniel, I just remembered another thread where we danced, so long ago... (and for so LONG! ![]() ![]() ![]() And Rian... hope you don't mind this... dance! ![]() ![]() (of course - maybe Aiwendis will also wish to check on how things were progressing herself)

And the post about Val was great as usual. (of course - maybe Aiwendis will also wish to check on how things were progressing herself) Will he continue dancing in this excited state? Most men would try to find a quiet corner to let the mood pass. Not so with the High King? ![]() ![]() ![]() Now, VAL and WO: I have an IDEA: Oreturion thinks something was amiss with that goblet. He knows somebody had blocked his senses when the goblet was delivered. He suspects Ilmenzor, but is not sure, because 1.he doesn't see the motive, and 2. he can't understand how a man so broken could recover so completely. Now this night Val is bound to tell Oreturion about the stone that was in the goblet. They may learn who put it there, if they send someone to ask the steward. Could it lead to suspecting MAHTALIEL? That would be interesting. Even the SWORD's warning (...enemies from before...) may be applicable to her, wasn't she among those who almost killed Elwing, Elros and Elrond for the Silmaril? And being a Smith of Eregion she should know about Rings. Think on it, please. Earniel, great post. I liked how you caught a wiff of magic in the air. Really Aiwendis should have prepared the potion beforehand, when the Moon was full, silly goose! I am afraid, the Captain will punish her for it. Re: disturbing. I am not sure a woman cannot fall in love with someone she finds disturbing initially. I have seen it happen...It is much more likely to fall in love with a disturbing man, than with an utterly uninteresting one. But it is OOC. As for the Chancellor, he is not at all eager for Earniel's affections. ![]() WO I truly LOVED your last post and the Chancellor in it. Yes, he finds arguing with you much amusing, but right now he is very preoccupied. Udu Great post! What a night! You conveyed a feeling of danger so well. What will you find in Orrodel? Most likely a corpse downstairs and two completely drunk colleagues making love upstairs. Hardly anyone will open the door for you. But you will manage, I trust. Hope you haven't forgotten that sobering spell... Do you like Five and Lilly? They are Easterlings, so probably not overmuch. But it is up to you. TD. I wait with abated breath. What will Khamul do? Will he wait as Aiwendis asked? (Note that Aiwendis is only No.8, no authority for you at all, even if she is the captain's mistress). He may even believe that she has sent Udu away to protect HIM from you. So, will he stay at the Reception? Will he follow Udu and take his vengeance on all three nazgul found in Orrodel? And I like Lotesse's idea: don't make Viv tell you about Lilly&Penny so explicitly. Make her quite vague. Then you only have Aiwendis's word that it were Lilly&Five and NOT Udu. That idea had crossed my mind, if they want to spy on her they'll have plenty to discover, though not bad.

Udu, I am glad you decided to come and rescue poor us, Penny and Lilly! Yes, Gordis is right, Melwen is not dead - yet. What we are doing ![]() Khamul - are you coming or waiting? (trembles). Lotesse I suggest you leave an empty post now - a placeholder to fill later. I will be happy to know how Vivvie danced at the Reception. ![]() |

Okay, I'll edit the post now. Not quite sure what Khamûl will do yet, but I will post later.

I was thinking that maybe Khamûl could ignore Aiwendis' advice and head off to Orrodel, but the Chancellor and Gor could arrive before he has the hance to do any damage.
