I know people tend to have mixed opinions about the holiday, but here's mine: Holidays are what you make of them, and to me Valentine's Day is a great excuse to eat lots of yummy chocolate!  Not that there are any bad excuses, of course.

Holy crap! I just got accepted to CUA's PhD. Without any interviews or anything!
Now to wait for other offers (read: Notre Dame) and financial aid.
