Long Lost Leaves

[feawen]

Nami looked from Quickleaf to Ellysa, "Is that want you thought i would hate you for? Oh Ellysa you can no more control what you see than i can control the wind! What will be will be, it is not your fault what happens, we would never blame you for it." Nami looked up at Quickleaf and around at the others gathered hoping they would agree with her and help to make the young woman felt better.

[Coffeehouse]

Quickleaf nodded in agreement and turned to Ellysa,
"Ellysa, Radaghast saw it fit that you join this company from the very start. If Radaghast, a wise wizard, and a friend of Gandalf, whom I have great respect for, believes you should be a part of the companionship, I too will believe so.
Mellon en mellonamin, friend of my friend"

Looking up at the skies, seeing the dusk covering the horizon in the east, above the tops of the Misty Mountains, Quickleaf added with a smile
"Come, let's go back to the camp and prepare for tonight's feast"

[Mari]

A feeling of immense relief washed through Ellysa as she heard the kind and reassuring words of Quickleaf and Nami.
She got up and made ready to go back with them, but had still one question: "Who is this Gandalf you all keep talking about?"

[Aikanáro]

To fall asleep against her shoulder, as a child would? Tabrîl sighed, exasperated indeed. This woman Haldis was becoming more infuriating by the minute, and Tabrîl, noticing Abasi's grin, was none too pleased by any of it. Carefully, she tried to extricate herself, leaving Haldis propped against the tree, and not against her. Fortunately, she slept deeply enough that Tabrîl's movements appeared not to wake her.

Slightly unsteady, Tabrîl walked to the other side of the camp and back, mostly to prove to herself that she still could. Whatever her affliction was, it seemed to be easing somewhat. She sat down again next to Abasi, as it was more agreeable to her than sitting alone, and began to work on mending her cloak. Tabrîl was far from an accomplished seamstress, but her repair-work was serviceable enough, and the task needed to be done.

[The Sasquatch of Fangorn]

"Hello. Abasi? I'm taking to ya here!" said Borin, waving a hand in front of Abasi's face.

[Curufin]

Abasi raised an eyebrow at Borin.

'Yes, and what of it?'

[Ingwe]

Ingwionis looked over when Elyssa asked of this "Gandalf". "Gandalf! Gandalf the Grey, or Gandalf the White! He was in Radagast's order of the Istari, the wizards. Gandalf was really courageous. He ended the terror of Moria, fought valiantly at Helm's Deep, Minas Tirith, and the Black Gates, and helped contribute to the end of many evil things. Of course, Radagast here deserves a lot of credit, for without his deeds, Mirkwood would not be free and the northern lands would have been decimated. You don't have to worry about a thing, Elyssa, we have a good leader and many good people traveling with us. We must be cautious and sensible, but we must also have faith."

[Mari]

"Oh!" Ellysa exclaimed, partly because she hadn't noticed Ingwionis earlier and partly because she felt like she should have known about a wizard who was obviously such a great man.
"Uhm, thank you... all of you... really!"
With a slightly lighter step she followed everyone back to camp.

As they walked on Nami could not quite believe Ellysa had not heard of Gandalf.
Nami started to daydream. In her own little world again, she feeling all together a lot happy in the light of day. Nami mused over her own experiences with the great man, which were not many.

"I got shouted at my Gandalf once" Nami started almost as if she was telling the air and sky, "i kinda shot his hat off by acident."

[Coffeehouse]

The companions were sort of drifting through the forest, glad things had turned out for the better, and sipping in the cool afternoon air.

Hearing Nami's unfortunate shooting accident Quickleaf laughed merrily.
"I'm glad I'm not the only clumsy elf around hehe. I too have been shouted at by Gandalf. And I don't even know why.., but it changed my life forever. That thundering voice of his nearly made me deaf"

Nami laugh "Oh his voice, he said he was going to turn me in to some un natural, oh he was not best impressed that day! I think his scaryness had something to do with his eyebrows!"

[Coffeehouse]

Quickleaf was now laughing so much he had to stop walking.

[orithil]

Hedrim who had been quite, decided to walk off and sit away from the rest of the party and watch what was happening...at least until the feast was ready. He saw Quicklleaf and the rest talking and laughing. He turned to find Borin approaching Abasi and saying something to him, otherwise everyone just seemed to be sitting or walking around aimlessly...well as far as he could tell.

"Dont laugh it was really scary! I swore his eye brows grow a bit! I remember he turned looked at his hat on the floor, looked me and shouted at me, pointing his staff at me, "Nami, you foolish air headed, dreamer get your head out of the clouds and stop trying to kill my hat. That was a very good hat, it fitted just right and now your put a hole in it. If one of your wayward arrows comes my way again i swore i'll take you out and turn you into the first crawling thing i find!"
"Oh i nearly cryed! Laster that day he gave me a toffee!"

[Coffeehouse]

The toffee had rendered Quickleaf completely helpless, laughing to tears.
"Toffee!? Hahahaha!!!"

Nami stopped and laughed too, she laughed at the memory as much as she laughed at Quickleaf. "Quick to angry, quick to laughter, quick to give me toffee! I think he only gave it me to shut me up. When i saw him later that day i stammered that much at him and said so many im so so sorry's that he gave me a toffee to shut me up!"

[Mari]

Ellysa was smiling brightly. She loved hearing these stories and it was just terribly funny. She wished she could have been there!

[Coffeehouse]

"I won't ever be able to eat a toffee again without choking on it" Quickleaf chuckled, wiping tears from his chin.

[Aikanáro]

Tabrîl glanced from Borin to Abasi with a look of mild amusement. These uwindi simply did not know when it was better to leave someone alone! Abasi, however, was perfectly capable of sending Borin away if he chose to, and so Tabrîl said nothing.

Having finished with her cloak, she draped it around her, and then took from her bag a scrap of cloth and a small bottle of oil. The blades of her sword and knives were in need of care, and it was to this that Tabrîl now attended, with a focus singular enough that it appeared almost to be ritual intensity.

Until that focus was broken, with the raucous laughter of Quickleaf and the others who had returned to the camp. Tabrîl frowned. What could possibly be so entertaining to them?

Hedrim decided he would see what Borin wanted to tell Abasi, so he stood and walked over to where Abasi was sitting and sat down. "So Abasi, planning on leaving anytime soon, or are you going to stay with us for awhile?" Hedrim more said then asked, he raised his eyebrows.
