NOOOOOOO! MINE!
LOL Looks like I wasn't the only one spending time in a hospital... Hubby started having chest pains and feeling dizzy last night while we we at my parents house. My aunt offered to take him, but we all know she'd get lost. I took him to the ER and we ended up waiting about an hour before the nurse took him back to check on him. Then they admitted him and we had to wait a few more hours for the docs to take Xrays of his chest and do some tests. THANK GOD THE TEST CAME BACK NORMAL!!!! I have never been so scared in my life, even with my own trip to the ER a couple of years ago. The ER doc gave him some meds to lower his heart rate, which was prolly quite literally going a mile a minute. He's fine now. And Acally is very releaved. *Sits down with Anicetos and some chocolate*

Thanks, Ri.
I am so glad everything came back normal. He's going to the doc next month for a physical to find out if he has anything else, like diabetes and that stuff.

That must have been quite a scare!
I hope something can be found that explains what happened (unless it is something scary of course) *hug*

Tomorrow = final day of internship. A bittersweet day. On the one hand I'm so happy it's over because it is terribly exhausting and on the other hand I'm gonna miss those little brats so much!
I smell all minty by the way: we did a lesson on monasteries and herbs so I brought mint oil for the kids to smell and put in their workbook, but the stench! o_O It was a bit heavier than I expected...

Aww, Mari. I know what you mean. *hugs*
Has anyone tried colored contact lenses before? I'm thinking about getting some to wear for auditions. I like my natural eye color, but it might be fun to change it up a little every once in a while . I figure it's not as drastic as getting a tattoo or piercing or something . I don't like the ones where it makes your eyes look dramatically colored... like an unrealistic shade of green or blue or whatever... But the more naturally colored ones are pretty. |

No, but i've always wanted to I always wanted to get light aquamarine colored contacts, but alas, they wouldn't work realistically on me. My eyes are a very dark pinetree-green color naturally, so at most i would get a slightly aqua-ish bright green Might be interesting, but it might also look freakishly unnatural Not what i'd be going for!
Let us know how it goes if you try it.

BTW Acalewia, Rhino and I posted on Atharon. Rhino's going to be gone for a few days now, on a choir trip, but I can be around now and there are plot avenues to explore .

I'm feeling a teensy bit lonely. And I'm slightly nauseated. Those two are connected >_<

I'd keep you company, Mari, but I'm afraid I'm not very useful at the moment, I'm typing with one hand because the muscles in my other arm are very sore thanks to that tetanus shot from yesterday and I can't lift my hand high enough.
Oh, look at it, 11000 posts. And here I am with one hand. Typical.

You have no idea how scary it is not knowing why your spouse is having chest pains or what is causing it.
I might have to reread the game. I can't remember what the hell we were doing lol.

I'm about to drop even more money. Boo .
I have to get a Pirates score, an acting with an accent program (so I can talk gooder in British), and then I think I may need to get some new black and tan slacks. I need something I can wear that isn't as delicate as my nice wool pants. How's the foot coming, Rian? |

It's been getting better this week!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!! The owner of the physical therapy clinic has taken over my case, and he is just haulin' on the ol' foot! It's incredibly painful, but ... we are getting progress again!!!!! The other people on the tables around me comment that it looks like he's going to break my leg but I don't care - it's worth it - it's improving again!!!!! The other therapist was just not strong enough. Thanks for asking - I don't think I'll get all the inversion back, but at least I've started improving again. And they're fitting me for a brace on Monday that I wear at night that will put pressure on it all night and hopefully give me even more improvement. A big measure of the recent improvement was this: For the first time in a year and a half, I exited my car stepping on my left foot! Think about it the next time you exit the driver's side - you open the door, and put your left foot down on the ground. I haven't been able to do this for A YEAR AND A HALF because of the pain and the instability and weakness - and I did it yesterday!!!!!!!!! And I'm stepping off the curb onto my right foot now for the first time in a year and a half, which means my left foot is better enough to support this!! (notice how your foot on the curb works when you step off the curb). I'm so happy! It's so stinkin' painful - the therapist avoids looking at my face because he knows he's giving me a lot of pain - but it's improving again!!!!! And my doctor just approved another prescription of Vicodin, which means that I'll be able to actually sleep well on physical therapy nights!!!!!

Brr, the way you describe it, RÃ*an, I can almost hear your foot crunch! No pain, no gain, they say, but ouch! You have my sympathies.

o_O I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be present during those sessions... But I am very glad they work for you! Progress is good! And unexpected progress is even better
I slept 11 hours! I guess I really needed it and that it's a good thing I decided not to join my family on their long weekend away.
