Ungh, today was one long wearying string of being tired while doing nothing. I woke up at five a.m. and tried to get things done, but fell asleep on the couch at 7 a.m., then at 10 I woke up again and went out to get errands done, but only managed to do one errand before I was so tired I knew I had to go home.

Then I napped, and got up when my mom got home. Despite the fact that -my- voice was shot, we went ahead and did a voice lesson for her.

She had a HUGE break through! I'm so incredibly proud of her.

Of course now I'm even more wiped out because I put every ounce of my energy into the lesson.

*falls down* I'm happy. Dead happy.

Thanks everyone And I hope the baby cooperates b/c I really need to know if it is a girl so I can buy clothes since all I have are boy clothes and I won't be getting any baby showers this time.
Aw, come on. Dressing girls in boy clothes is no biggie. Boy clothes are harder wearing anyway. I still wear boy clothes.

Yep, classes start a week from next Monday, but I'm taking a week off right before, and going to NYC.

Arien, that's crap . DON'T LET THE PLEBEIANS TELL YOU HOW TO DRESS YOUR CHILD! o(>.<)O

The perfect retort is, of course, "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY."

Or "Yo momma!", which is the proper reply to anything you don't like. 50 million teenage boys can't be wrong.

But seriously, I'll never understand why people fuss so much about what babies wear. Babies are adorable in just about anything, AND why are you criticizing what a baby is wearing? You are not the guest judge on America's Next Top Baby Model. Geeze. -_-

Sisterandcousinandaunt--WHEEE! Vacation ^_^.

I personally am feeling about a million times better, because I found out about an easier math course that I -think- I might be able to take (I still need to check), and because my mom TOTALLY ROCKED her voice lesson tonight. For the second time! She 'got it' on Monday, and today she still had it, once we applied the proper techniques again.

I do have this lingering fear that I'm screwing up her voice somehow, and she's going to end up with vocal damage, thus proving my 'good ear' to be worthless... BUT I'm pretty sure that's just me messing with myself .

YEEEE!!!!!! I'm so happy! It looks like I really -have- finally found something in my life that I can really be amazing at . Teaching! YEEEEE! It's just so obvious... I'M TOTALLY AMAAAAZING .

Kidding. But I am happy... this makes me feel... worthful. Is that a word? Failing at the math had me feeling like I used to all the time, like there was nothing in the world I could do right... but being able to teach voice helps remind me there -are- things I can do really well that also help other people.
