I had a tree with a rope swing. It was a giant macrocarpa that had this HUUUUGE canopy that I could hide under. Even the mad rabid sheep couldn't reach me there.

I loved that tree. I could swing so, so high on my rope swing, with my eyes closed... Feeling the world swing by. It was awesome.

I got a postcard from my friend! And she said she has confirmed her flight back and I had the same news from my other two friends not long ago, so in the second half of September we will finally all be in the same country for the first time in over 2 years again!
I miss them

That will be one crazy reunion weekend! (yeah we are planning it already

) 4 girls, games, movies, dinner... no sleep

Some lady left a bunch of goodies in her hotel room and I got to keep it. Some unopened chips, a beer, some coffee (the ground up beans kind). I feel like a bum for being so excited. Like the homeless kind. I'm not really that poor though.

It's always nice to get little surprises like that.

So, I just called work to find out when I work next, and it turns out I'm in the middle of a three day weekend.

Now I feel like I definitely have to make the best of it. I've been cleaning house most of this morning.

Finally, I feel the real urge to exercise for real again.. Thanks to the climbing course I went to. I've always enjoyed it, but there's so much more energy in it now. Feels great.

Also, the climbing course was great. I'm in love now.

We have baby frogs now ^_^
And I put my resume online. I wanna see if there are people who are interested in someone who graduated with Japanese. If I can't get a job with the EU or UN, an international job will suit me just fine as well.

Oh, and I am being under consideration for a summerjob, though it's a job I don't want to have. Getting that job would mean 3 hours of commuting a day. Still, I need a job. >_<

Happy thing of tomorrow: I'm going to an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant with a friend WITHOUT her boyfriend (thank heavens for that) and then go see a film. *is very much looking forward to it*

I ate Japanese food! I managed to finish my miso, eat 2 tamagozushi, a tori-don and other dishes. (I shared them with my friend of course, I couldn't eat it all by myself)
It was great! We talked a lot about Japan as well.

Had sushi, green tea, watched Dylan Moran's stand-up, some QI, later on we had some very good wine (I'm getting a bit too used to good, expensive wines..) and now there're the European Championships in football.. And, a close friend of mine is visiting. Life is good. 8)
