How did Brytta, the 11th King of Rohan, was called by his people, and what was the meaning of his name (by the people)?

He went by "Léofa" and it meant "Beloved"...

And later on in modern times there was a water filtration named after him: http://www.brita.com/

In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world.'

'Then Tuor arrayed himself in the hauberk, and set the helm upon his head, and he girt himself with the sword; black were sheath and belt with clasps of silver. Thus armed he went forth from Turgon's hall, and stood upon the high terraces of Taras in the red light of the sun. None were there to see him, as he gazed westward, gleaming in silver and gold, and he knew not that in that hour he appeared as one of the Mighty of the West, and fit to be father of the kings of the Kings of Men beyond the Sea, as it was indeed his doom to be; but in the taking of those arms a change came upon Tuor son of Huor, and his heart grew great within him. And as he stepped down from the doors the swans did him reverence, and plucking each a great feather from their wings they proffered them to him, laying their long necks upon the stone before his feet; and he took the seven feathers and set them in the crest of his helm, and straightway the swans arose and flew north in the sunset, and Tuor saw them no more.' -Of Tuor and his Coming to Gondolin

Paternal grandfather, Arador - in the Trollfells (fell to a troll, in fact)... his maternal grandfather, Dirhael - we don't know.

close enough... though the reference from the tale of aragorn and arwen gives a slightly different name than "trollfells" (i don't believe trollfells is in the appendix)

Oh - I forget, was he all the way up to the Ettenmoors? If so, that's a different place - but same general part of Eriador...

it was called the "coldfells" in the appendix... "trollfells" was from gandalf's explanation about evading the nazgul after his confrontation with them... it is never clear whether these refer to the same place, though the probably do

your turn!

We're going on quite a roll with the northern Dunedain,
Being my favorite topic, I won't break the chain:

While still a prince, Arvedui married a princess. What was her name and which kingdom was she from?

(Is this kind of a Valentine's Weekend question?)
