went and saw King Arthur yesterday morning and i was planning on going again tommorrer but i think ill leave it to tommorrer now...
personally i thought it was great, i had huge expectations a little while back then they dropped (saw it had a PG 13 rating in america despite being M here ) but then i saw it and i though it rocked, if they had a bit of blood i would have been mega impressed, better than Troy though (i still love you Eric Bana )

I applaud you! Love it, worship it, watch it.

We just watched The Maltese Falcon again, and The Triplettes of Bellville.

Theatrically speaking, here's what I've seen in June and July: (links = reviews)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - very, very impressed, even for an admittedly picky Rowling fanatic.

Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman - a quirky and patient Japanese samurai movie, and not for everyone, but you should check it out if it's playing in your area and you're into foreign films.

Fahrenheit 9/11 - Not quite as good a documentary as Bowling For Columbine, but it's interesting to see all the don't-elect-Bush

The Terminal - Funny, charming, and even makes references to Star Trek. There's nothing like watching Spielberg try new things.

Spider-Man 2 - loved it, and quite an improvement over the first. Probably the best superhero movie I've seen.

I, Robot - Above expectations, warts and all. It tended to waver between intelligence and nonsense, but more often than not played up the former. Didn't totally butcher the Three Laws of Robotics.

On DVD: Last film I saw was Spirited Away for the first time over the weekend (Japanese with English subtitles, of course) - adored every moment of it.

HP& Prisoner of Azkaban- it was good. I want the soundtrack

Farenheight 9/11- Amusing! Thought provoking! I'm glad Michael Moore chose to stay out of most of it.

Spirited Away- Don't you just adore that movie?

I want to go see Cat Woman because of Halie Barry in that skanky PVC catsuit! Rrrrowr!

I saw a trailer for CW a couple of days ago. Didn't think much of HB's suit.
They could have used one those sharksuits instead. Now, that would have been smokin'.

I watched "The Good Girl" on HBO yesterday. I usally don't like Jennifer Aniston as an actress but she was really good in this. It was a pretty good movie though I didn't liek the ending.

I just saw the Bourne Supremacy. It was very good. The only thing that I didn't like about it was that the director over used the shakey cam. thing. It got on my nerves in a few scenes, especially the fantastic car chase scene that could have been one of the best ever if not for the blurry and shakey camera work.

But overall it was an excellent film. A very good spy thriller that doesn't go overboard with action and focuses more on the story.

I saw 'Amelie' at last, and I loved it. One of the best films I've ever seen and I could go on about it for ever, but I'd sound like an idiot, so I'll stop here.

Yeah, kinda makes you wonder why you didn't watch it earlier, eh? (Only saw it recently myself, and agree - damned good film).

Re-watched Breakfast at Tiffany's last night. Love that movie.
