Woo hoo, the stove is working, at least for now. That means fried rice for me!

Also, tomorrow is pretty much a win-win situation. I'm on the schedule for work, but she said there's a good chance I'll get called off because they want as few people working on the holiday as possible (because they're cheap), so depending on how many rooms there are, I'll either get a nice two days off in a row, or I'll get time and a half tomorrow. I kind of hope I get to work. Extra cash is nice (I don't want to lose one of my 5 work days anyway...) and I'm sooo ready for it anyway. Bring it on.

My weekend was great fun! My friend had young cousins. Guess what I've been doing? And in the evenings we played boardgames and we had a barbecue as well! I haven't barbecued in.... must have been maaaaaany many years.

Woo, barbeque! I wanna have one too. It's finally gotten warm. I still don't know if I'm working this morning yet or not though. Not that I have a grill...

I found my wallet thing with all my important stuff in it, finally. I'd been looking for a long time. It was really stressing me out. It was in the place I looked right away but missed it somehow.

And I have another lovely day off! How is it already 10:30 though? I'm going out today, now that it's not Memorial Day and everything isn't closed.

Who, me? No I'm in Michigan, still. -_-; I'm trying my best to get out of here though. I'd love to give the west coast a shot.

I can't wait for the day when I have my own house and can plant things. I always always wanted a vegetable garden.

Ah, significantly west of me. One of my best friends lives in Michigan, and I always forget she's in the same timezone, because her day starts so much earlier than mine does, usually.

Until I got a job that starts at 9 or so, time zones meant little to me either way. I'd stay up until 7am sometimes or sometimes go to bed at 7pm- it was a mess. I get like that a lot, but I feel a lot better now that I'm on a set schedule. I'm usually up at 7:30 and to bed at 10 or 11. I'm a little zombified when I wake up but I find I have a lot more energy all day. It's nice.

I'm glad my job only has one shift. It's nice to work the same hours every day. Easier to get into a routine.

*nods in agreement* For my summerjob from a few years ago I had to get up at 5, but I was back at 1.30 too, so I would have the whole afternoon to myself. It was a great job...
Working with dementing elders is nice.

Treehouses... I had my own branch, my secret hide-away a long time ago.
I made the mistake of sharing that secret with my (then) best friend who wasn't very good at keeping secrets

I'm happy because I'm awake and listening to great music and got an A+ for my year Japan.
I didn't expect to get a grade for going abroad but 'll settle for this one
