Hey, all! What's new? Not much for me. No Monk or Psych or Burn Notice until after the U.S. open!!! *dies*
I have to do physics this year. *dies again*
Ok, I'll probably sound really weird for this, but do British babies have British accents, or do they develop them as the get older? Like, when they say their first word, is it with an accent?

Probably not, because babies' first words are borderline unintelligible. That's like someone in Britain asking if babies in America start with American accents. It's just a blurb that resembles speech. At that point in their life they're like big, ugly, naked parrots.

Awww, would you call those adorable loud little things that need constant feeding, sleep and other things big, ugly, naked parrots?
One might say that's an insult to parrots...

I want a baby in my family very soon, because then I can go out to buy those cute little clothes and shoes! don't care about the baby, just the cute clothes

On a serious note: I remember reading somewhere that if a baby was raised for example in English and then moved to for example a Spanish speaking country and learned how to speak Spanish, before their 2nd year, it would still affect (positively) the childs learning of English later on in its life.
So when you want your kid to be gifted when it comes to languages move somewhere before it's born to learn the language of that land and move back before the kid turns 2.

But after awhile, they can actually say things. Like the baby MB and I babysit, he has words for lots of things. Vroom-vroom for car, ba for ball, bus, bird, or book depending on what he feels like, wawa for dog, awa for water, ju for juice, tutu for train, etc. Do British babies say those thing with an accent? *ponders*

So true, I just had to toss that in. (I avoided calling early teens the "Hormonal Devil Children")

Hehe, well, you could have just stated the truth anyway, young teens ARE hormonal devil children...
and later on they grow up to be hormonal devils or regress to the previous devil children state.
Who ever used the words angelic and baby in one phrase obviously didn't have kids of his/her own.
Allthough my little cousin does come near.

I think my dad has lost his mind.

It's now about 104 degrees Fahrenheit (about 38 degrees Centigrade) inside my house, and rising, so by four it will top out at about 110 degrees. The air conditioner broke under mysterious circumstances, and my dad, upset at first, is now on an insane attempt to make sure it stays broken. I think he likes the fact that on top of losing the AC, we're also losing the refrigerator, cold water (because of hotter and hotter days outside), and other inconveniences (my computer overheats again, which it has not done in a long time).

So please. Get me some cold Correllian ale.

I'm back, fellows! If you didn't notice, I've been gone all weekend.

Let the celebrations commence!

I like babies. I'm gonna have a few of my own in a couple years. Gotta get that whole money thing worked out first.

Gods, I hate the weekends. I work every weekend, and this one was a killer. 12 hours (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) each day.

Gah, I could use a pint.
