I'm sorry sane!
Tb- Were kinda bouncing around... I'm in advances 9th grade sci.... yeah....
I'm normally very Hermione-ish in science. I'm "that girl who talks a lot in science' But I've decided to answer less questions... The class will do just fine without my detailed explainations... and questions that only my teacher gets that turn into a 20 minute private discussion in the middle of class that the rest of the class does'nt understand....
I'm annoying....

Wow! Sounds fun! Advances 9th grade science? I take it you're not in biology. AP (or IB, if I remember correctly) Integrated Science?
I'm still pretty upset at whoever wrote this idiotic California State Standards. I SHOULD be in biology, which would leave room for an extra math class that I would probably need for AP Physics which I'm going to take (2nd year physics), but instead, they require that you take geometry at the same time or prior to biology, which is absolutely rediculous. I don't want to ruin my summer by attending one summer school class while they offer two which would force me to take one I don't need, but it seems like I'm forced into this because of the extremely high expectations the colleges seem to have. I'd almost need an extra year to fit all of this in! However, if I remember to ask Carla about that Johns Hopkins University summer program she mentioned (because I certainly didn't remember last time!), maybe I'll have a much more promising alternative! That would be how I would take my missing math class, and maybe an additional physics class (making for a total of three physics courses), and then be WAY ahead of myself for college (AP physics also counts towards a college physics class because it's very advanced). God forbid they assign...um...campwork. I just don't know what I would do then. As I beleive I mentioned before, I'd be yet another grade ahead if it wasn't for my lack of enthusiasm for homework, specifically throughout middle school when it really mattered. (I didn't skip a grade. Start school 1 year early + 1 year brought up a grade.) I don't know, perhaps that would be WAY too much. I just wish I could brush off Environmental Science AND Biology, but thanks to the arrogant oligarchy up north, I can't.

Yeah... my entire education is based of "standards" aka... that WASL......
If this test is the basis of my knowledge... I'm doomed. (I feel like were all generic)

For me or for Shah?
If it's for me, well, I dont' need it. Sometimes I get a little too passionate about how much I DEPLORE state standards. Let those blasted papers rot in hell! Well, actually, they don't need to do that. I just throw them in the fire, or bury them, or drop 'em into a termite tank. They're garbage! Nothing but a bunch of frelling garbage made by some ootmian rimkin who ought to be blasted with a Martian raygun.

EDIT: WASL? Hmm...What's that?
Taking tests next week. I'll ace every category as usual.
I actually should put the blame on my old school, who failed to transfer all of the extras (5 high school credit Spanish), and completely forgot I already took Algebra I AND II back in 8th grade in that computer class.

What is a WASL? Is it in any way similar to the STAR or Stanford 9 or CAT6 or whatever dumb name it has these days?

God, what is it with the government and their acronyms! I think all these tests should be burned! They're probably no more than a 10% accurate test of human intelligence, and I wouldn't trust one if I had written it.

WASL stands for... actually I can't remember what it stands for. *looks it up* Washington Assesment of Student Learning. Standardized test. Evil.

...And Kitty already said that. At least you never had to act in a play with Squirrel, Sane. Painful that was.

No, I had to put up with him on a daily basis. He loved hanging around me, just to be kicked when he annoyed me....ARG.

Ooh, we could tell Squirrel stories, but it'd be too painful.

has anyone said this yet?
