What are you procrastinating from?

As for Valentines day, it'll be postponed somewhat for me. At least until spring break.

I'm supposed to be out of this house right now, cleaning cars for my boyfriend and running a couple errands, plus I have to drive downtown, stuff to do dammit, I have stuff to do. I think it's time I started weaning myself from Entmoot, but it is SO hard, it's like a friggin' drug, mooting here. I'm serious.

You could say that again.

Happy Valentine`s Day! I give you my handmade chocolates in cute little packaging! Actually no, I didn`t make any. But I did make a homemade heart shaped pizza. I made the sauce and crust and everything. Valentine`s Day is fun in Japan, except for one thing- mostly the girls just give chocolate to the boys, and the boys don`t give any to us. *cries* But we girls also give lots to each other, so I got chocolates from 9 of my friends. ^_^ It`s a cool holiday. It`s all about chocolate. And a lot of it is actually hand made. And in cute packages. Sure the stores like it too, but Japanese girls love this sort of thing. Generally.

That's a cool custom, to have the girls get chocolates for the boys, I like that! Very cool.

May I have something containing caffeine, please? >(

I don't care much about Valentine's - seems my only program will be comforting my friend, her bf just dumped her. Ah well.

Owch. That sucks, for both you and her!

*Hands LA some coffee with cream and sugar on the side* That is about as fancy as I get, but at least it has caffeine. Or would you prefer the pure powder form of caffeiene?

I used that stuff like crack a few quarters back. I didn't sleep the whole quarter, and just started to take the powder, mix it in water, or just eat it.

*raises hand* Umm, I'll take some 'o that! I have never heard of pure powdered form caffeine before. Sounds suspiciously like wannabe meth for the law-abiding crowd. Does one snort it? Are you serious? They have the tablets, like No-Doz and stuff but I swear I've never heard of powdered caffeine. I wonder if places like Starbucks Corporation puts powdered jolt into their coffee mixtures, to keep people even more hooked on the caffeine.

Hey, LittleAdanel! Right now I'm half-watching this Armand Assante movie set primarily in Hungary and Austria. I thought of you, actually, when we first clicked it on. It's full of cliches, though, like a guy running in slow motion with outstreched arms while yelling "NOOOOoooo...", and bad guy sarcastically clapping at a point where some double-cross is discovered, cheesy stuff like that. But Assante is cool, and I love seeing all the shots of Eastern Europe.

Thanks coffee with cream & sugar will be fine - I haven't yet tried eating the powder...

Yes it sucks, being dumped before Valentine's. But on the other hand, spending a lovey-dovey day when from the guy's part the emotions are gone... I can understand he didn't want it.

But now I really gotta go... early-starting classes, ack.

Edit: Lotesse, thankee... i really have a laugh about those stereotypic ones, but heck, at least the landscape/cities are nice.

Really... gotta... go... I'm being distracted...

Agreed, just like Christmas, Easter, et al. Just thought I should say something, you know, in the same way one would exclaim, “Yay, happy your-gran-died-today day!”.

Well between that and Japanese girls' school uniform design, looks like a pretty cool place to me.

I guess I forgot to mention that the boys give us chocolates too, on White Day. So even if you go to Japan you won`t get off that easy.

Lotesse, those chocolates look really good!

You know, I could say that Valentine`s Day is too commercialized and so on, but you know, as long as I get chocolates and things this good I`m not complaining. I think it`s not as bad here as in the U.S. though. I guess though, that I`m just a romantic at heart and can`t resist this kinda thing anyway.

I'm not so sure that chocolates would be the deciding factor in that regard. That's not to say I wouldn't be the giver of chocolatey goodness though.

Look, Mooters, The Lyrd of the Ryngs will need some guest posters to go through the last chapters.

Will you please help us? We're only two posters there now, me and Earthbound, and a couple more would greatly appreciated.

We're at The Houses of Healing. And what is left of book 5 is The Last debate and The Black Gate Opens.

And then there's the final book 6 which begins with Sam waking up in the Cirith Ungol Condo Tower Complex.

So, friends a helping hand at finishing the Lyrd off would be welcome.

Best
GW

Happy valentine guys!

It isn't that big here in norway, thankfully. But it's big enough to be distracting. And I don't really see the point. But enough jibjab, how are you? I'll have a tea.
