This afternoon I've got a job interview. I work part-time, and this is another part-time job that can be combined with the first one.
If I get it ... There are three candidates to be interviewed.

Eärniel, the job is very similar to the one I've got already. Office work, running the adress lists for the newsletter. A new thing would be to do the homepages, which would be interesting. I'm not sure how it went - not too brilliantly, I feel. I'm not very good with oral exams ... Still, it may be ok. There will be a board meeting on the 26th when it will be decided, and all 17 applicants will be told eventually whether they've got the job or not. So I have to wait for another couple of weeks ...

I got some neat Italian stuff. One is an app with language learning games and flash cards with voice recordings, and I've also ordered a great CD listening course. I sort of started on Monday, and I can't believe how much better than any of my old attempts this is going. The games in the app actually work a lot better for me.
I've already started to recognize words in some of the arias I listen to. |

The name of the app is Living Language Italian. So Living Language is the "brand." They very well might have some English versions.

I made some veggie soup tonight!!! Ever since I started the diet I've been eating a lot of stuff like canned soup, and I'll add barley or frozen veggies to fill it out. But now after trying so many different types and eating them over and over.... I can taste this sort of "processed food" taste and it's grossing me out.
So tonight I dropped by the store and got a bunch of stuff, then tried making my own veggie soup and it was SOOOOOO good. I made it with butternut squash, red bell pepper, peas, broccoli, yellow onion, carrots, and veggie broth and I had it with two tomatoes I sliced up and drizzled with salt and balsamic vinager. I stuffed myself so much but I wanted to keep eating because it was so delicious. I made a bunch so that I can stick it in the refrigerator and heat it up for a few more meals. I think I may have to plan to do this... Just make soups and stuff in bulk then heat them up for meals. Really can't stand the canned/pre-packaged stuff I've been eating. |

I don't mind frozen veggies... the peas and broccoli were from bags.
I just don't like canned stuff.I had no idea.... what makes it healthier? |
