Just wondering. I just had a REALLY funny image of Aerin kind of "running" the Blossomshade rides, like the guy at the circus or the zoo with the elephants and the horses.
I might borrow Aelf for a bit of a horse-show with Magor. Unfortunately, I don't know much about horses or shows. Anyone out there who does? I could probably make it sound convincing if I had to.

I got permission to interact with Tabril, but I hope I went about it acceptably. I'm pretty sure that the characters may be adversaries or the best of friends depending on how the first discussion went! But at least there wouldn't be any problem personally, since if there's a problem, there's always the shiny edit button!!

You're doing perfectly Tabrîl's not going to let A'mael away that easily, though.

I'm trying to speak to Tabril again - I don't know whether she'll forgive Baru, but I keep hoping
Abasi must be just sitting quietly by himself again, I guess. Probably sharpening one of his knives,

Late? I think we've got a long way to go yet. It's nice to see A'mael's interest in astronomy, too.

My husband taught me a lot on Astronomy. He said he had been into it since the age of 5. I was always sort of into it, but not as much as when he showed me some interesting stuff, and got me thinking on how big the universe really might be, and that it all could have existed ... forever, even before the Big Bang. In Astronomy there are just so many possibilities as nothing can be left out. There's an infinite store of knowledge in that no matter how many planets we might explore someday, it will never be enough, and there's always somewhere else to go; even if we live a trillion years and travel the whole time, we're only just beginning to scratch the surface!!
And of course, by late, I meant somewhat late, since my last active spree of posting. And the best part of it is, I still need to get Ingwe here to get in on the fun, but he's busier than ever I've seen him. But I'll be around to go on posting sprees for the foreseeable future. I hadn't asked if my sister had been here lately. Wonder if she has. Too bad she doesn't join in. She started courses though, she's been busy too. Oh well. I'm glad to see that this is almost like the never-ending tale. 100 years from now we could all be talking about it, like, wondering how it all began if we forgot by that time. We'll be in the eastern unknown continent by then! If there is one! |

Let's see: Radagast has started the festival with an act involving animals and fireworks; Barufiniel has performed twice or so with songs and playing her lyre; Tabrîl and Abasi have been having actual conversations with other people () which didn't end into fights (yet), Nami has done a rope-walking act; Hedrim told war-stories and Barufiniel and Branwyn have planned on a rendering of the Lay of Leithan but haven't performed that one yet. (Whenever you're ready, Varna).

Only two more story posts before we need a new thread!
I guess that Baru and Tabril could round off their conversation soon, so that we can move on to the next day and Baru and Branwyn can do their piece. We've done well with the festival so far, I guess there have been more performances than just those we have described, and we've got quite a few into the story. The Ultai should be satisfied Baru's encounter with the Rider of Rohan (called Folcmund) is described in this story. The part about her meeting Gandalf and taking food to the Shire, will be part of that story later on, but it hasn't been written yet - that story has taken years in RPing time ...

I'm looking forward to the Lay of Leithian posts, too - Varna, we can finish up soon if you like. Either in your next post, or mine, whichever fits better.
Oh, and welcome back, Acalewia!

Hey guys. I'm sorry, I'm really out of it. I don't think I'll be into it for at least another week or 2 if it isn't going to be more Going through lots of changes and new environments and stuff here, so my head is not really into the story.
Feel free to (ab)use Ellysa or something. If you talk to her and need a response, you can also just PM me and I can write something.

The first post in a new thread - I've repeated more of the previous conversation than I would have done if you didn't have to go to a different thread to read it.
And Baru - and I - are not quite sure what Tabril expects as polite leave-taking. Their previous conversations have mostly been interrupted one way or another ... If Tabril expects more small talk, she can instigate it in the next post, but I don't see her as being much of one for small talk After Aika's next post, there shouldn't be any need for anything more from me before Branwyn's performance the next day. And Eärniel, if you need to play Baru a little in your posts to make the continuity easier, feel free to do so If you give her a big surprise, though, I suppose I should play her reactions myself

Tabrîl isn't sure what Baru considers polite leave-taking, either, but you're right about the small talk. And she doesn't much believe in altruism, either.
Ok, I'm happy to skip to the nextday now if everyone else is.
