I've also been having crazy heart break stuff and yeah, I think "doing stuff" helps. Make sure the "stuff" is good stuff though. For example smoking cigarettes helps but is not recommended! I started going to the gym, which can be hard when you barely have the will to lift your head off the couch cushion, but it makes me feel physically and emotionally a lot better.

I don't smoke or drink, don't worry katya. My self-confidence would hardly allow me to go to the gym, taking walks might be good though. But I noticed I can reach my toes again, yay

That's good. Walks are good too, especially if you can find nice places to go. It's just super cold and snowy here so I'm like hmmmm... The first time I went to the gym I turned around and left because I was too nervous but now I'm fine, except I hate it when I see people I know there.

It's 19F right now -7C and it's been around there or a bit warmer. Not too cold, really, I just don't like the snow. It's wet and slippery.

Well, if I saw one of my close friends that'd be ok, but I don't want to see anyone else. I don't want to see people I don't like for obvious reasons and don't want to see people I do like because I look all bad and sweaty and I can't exercise well.

Where I live school is canceled and shops are being shut down because it's possibly going to snow 11 whole inches. While everyone here is storing food and salting our driveways, the people in Alaska and Colorado are sitting on their patios surrounded by 5 feet of snow, and they are laughing at my state.

For comparison to katya's 19F, it's 34 here and people are preparing for the apocalypse.

OMG, you probably are right around where I am. My university actually canceled classes the night before - usually they wait till 6 or 7 when we're all dressed and ready. Blizzard-like conditions, here we come!

31º F here. The only preparation my husband and I have done is make sure the faucets are dripping and pull our wipers off the windshields.

Yeah, here in the midwest (on the southern end, anyway), we're big sissies when it comes to cold weather. I can admit that for my entire region. Snow days and sick days are basically the same thing, except on snow days you're allowed to go outside if your mom doesn't freak out too much.

If I see so much as a single flake of real snow it pretty much sends me into a tailspin of unending joy and has me screaming, "OH MY GOD IT'S SNOWING!!!!!"

... of course on the other hand, if I see a patch of ice.... that sends me into a tailspin (literally? O_o) of despair that only ends when the sun comes out and melts it all.

I know.... Texas boy. Hate the heat, can't handle the freeze. I'm pathetic. We just don't really ever see snow in my part of Texas so if it really ever does ice over or snow people don't know what to do.


But on the other hand I'd like to see those Alaskans handle [insert something very specific to Texas]. YEAH!!! >.<
