Oh yeah. All those Romance languages are pretty close to each other, especially Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. They'll be very useful in learning each other, or understanding one language by cognate, even without really "knowing" it.

Christmas music? By the time January arrives, I'm so fed up of it I don't want to hear it until the week before the next Christmas. With the possible exception of Cthulhu Carols.

Tea, however, works all year round.

I actually have listened to Christmas carols in the middle of the summer . It's refreshing!

Today is a slow day. I had work, but it was optional enough to wait for tomorrow, so...

I didn't work today either, but I managed to accomplish some things I'd been putting off. Yay! And I went for a nice run too. I tried the treadmill (because it's freezing) and I hated it but running on the track is fun.

In case someone here isn't a Firefox user, make a switch and check the new "Personas" option! Customize your browser. And no, I'm not paid for this, just love this option so much that I recommend this to everyone.

Noble Elf Lord,

Alas...I loved Firefox, but it did not love my computer. I use Opera now. Safari is junk.

I ditched Opera when I learnt I could install the same mouse gestures in Firefox. The former was nice but I think the latter runs more smoothly.

Ciertamente, Camino es una palabra español.

Agreed. But it wasn't really an option. Currently Opera is the only browser that will properly work on my computer. So there, Jonathan. Some of us don't have options.

Firefox fan here. And while we are sort of on the topic: contrary to my assumptions and predictions, I really like Windows 7!
As long as you know what you want tweaked and where to find it, you can do a lot of stuff with it

Which browser uses the least memory? I like firefox but it occasionally eats into the memory like nothing else.

I read this morning that in the next update Microsoft will be patching a security hole in IE that's only 17 years old. Better late then never, I suppose.

MÃ* español, I think you mean. And I could be wrong, but it also might be está instead of es. It's been a while.

Here's a hint when typing!
Alt +...
130 = é
160 = á
161 = Ã*
162 = ó
163 = ú
164 = ñ
165 = Ñ
168 = ¿
173 = ¡

For when you're typing in españolish!

That was my favorite part of Spanish class - learning the Alt + commands.

I just ran into my voice teacher as I was coming up to school with the flowers I'm going to give her after her recital tonight.

>.<

I pretended not to recognize her, and asked who she was, and I don't think she saw through my clever ruse. I'm pretty much a master of disguise. There's no way she actually knew it was me. Mission accomplished.

You must carry around disguises with you wherever you go... Cool. I'll have to stick my princess outfit in my backpack in case I need to go incognito in a pinch.
