A Beautiful Mind - creepy as heck

Final Destination - also creepy, a suspenseful!

Interview with the Vampire - I LOVED the books, and was sincerely happy about the movie.

Empire of the Sun - My All time favorite!!!!

Stand by Me - Need I say more?

Sorry it wasn't 3 but I couldn't narrow it down.

1. The LotR trilogy (as soon as it is finished)

2. The Matrix trilogy (ditto)

3. The Godfather trilogy

Other favorites include Snatch, Spaceballs, Austin Powers, Caddyshack, and Fight Club (I'm the only person I know who finds this movie quite humorous -- strange but true).

Also, has anyone ever seen Escanaba in da Moonlight? It's wierd but very funny, especially for anyone who lives in the upper-Midwest area because much of it is very true.

*groans at mention of Ebonics*
Did you know that some senators were trying to get ebonics recognized as a LANGUAGE? Being tolerated in schools, ANd puching for it to be taught? (at least this is my understanding)

How pathetic is that?

That's not necessarily true. I know lots of girls who absolutely love several of those movies.

Consequently, I absolutely love the kind of girls who absolutely love those kind of movies. So if any of you lovely ladies want to PM me and get in touch . . . . . .

GRONK just isn't a big fan of these lists. We over classify, label, and list everything too much now adays. Top ten music videos, top 100 artists, top 50 romance movies, top 25 places to eat moldy pieces of cheese, top 15 fascist dictators.... Aaaaah! Make it stop!

Oh, I love some of those, too! I just meant that A) he mentioned that his top movies were gangster, war, or westerns; B) there was not even ONE romance/ romantic comedy/ or the like; and C) he listed that any Three Stooges movie was in his favorites list. Now if all that put together doesn't scream "I'm a man!" then I'm a 6' tall blonde model-type! (And BTW, I like The Three Stooges, too...in small doses ).

Edit: Oh, and he didn't mention any women in his list of actors whose movies he likes. That was another clue, that, when added to the others, helped in making my conclusion.
