I am a Lorien Elf. We are far superior to those elves from Mirkwood.

Lorien is too glamourous.
I agree, and it seems to peaceful. I'd much rather live in Mirkwood!

Peaceful? Mordor attacked Lorien three times while the books are busy with Gondor and the ring-bearers.

Celeborn continued to rule Lorien after Galadriel took Nenya over the sea, I believe.

I know it because, A. I was there, and B. in the "tale of the years" in the Appendices, the First, Second, and Third assaults on Lorien are labeled during the time the book covers.

There was also Cirdan in the Grey Havens. And Celeborn/Galadriel and Elrond didn't need their Rings to rule, the Rings were for other purposes.

Are you sure?

And anyway it doesn't matter if he went to Rivendell he still ruled with out a ring

And Did CÃ*rdan Really Rule Elves
I am asking in awe not doubtfulness

Absolutely. In the First Age, Cirdan was Lord of the Falas. Cirdan stayed apart from the quarrels of the Noldor. He was friendly with Finrod and in the time after Nargothrond was built the Noldor of that kingdom aided the Elves of Falas and rebuilt the Havens of Eglarest and Brithombar. In the First Age 474, when it was overrun, Cirdan withdrew to the Isle of Balar, and for the rest of the First Age ruled a remnant of the Elves and Edain of Beleriand.

In the Second and Third Ages, Cirdan was Lord of the Grey Havens. He was also a member of the White Council.

Wow!!! That is so cool I always thought he was Cool, Now he is awesome!!! At the end of RotK it says he has Gray Hair; Why, I always thought Elves were Ever young looking? Or is Gray also a Young color?
And do you know anything about Celeborn and going to Rivendell?

People are under the impression that Tolkien's Elves did not age. That is not true though. It was a very slow process. Also, I believe that they could achieve a desired appearence and that is how they would look for many thousands of years. Cirdan is one of the original Elves to awake at Cuivienen I believe, and his appearence throughout the story never seems to have changed, appearing as very tall, old and bearded. As we know though, none of the Elves had beards, so Tolkien created and ageing process of cycles for them and once they reached the third cycle of ageing, they grew facial hair. This explains Cirdan's beard, but since it seems that Cirdan always had a beard, then he must have awoke with it at his creation.

According to Foster, Ellandan and Elrohir remained at Rivendell and were joined by Celeborn after Elrond and Galadriel sailed West.
