We do not have a DVD player either...that is that goes with the TV, but we do have one on the computer...so that will have to do for now. Even though the screen is very small for movies, the quality is so much better that I would definitely watch it on the computer.
Do you have a computer that will play DVDs? Or maybe you can get it added to your existing computer...that might be a cheaper option. I also think the DVD will last longer....(but it is silly for them not to have the 'extras' with the tapes too!)

Forget the kids. they can handle a bit of violence its a shame it isnt R (is that under 17 have to have an adult?) because its a violent story and they need some good quality violence. My 5 year old went to watch it and though it was fantastic.

Eh...helps for me.

If anyone has an X-Box they play dvd's so that's how i'll be watching it!
