Gollum

Ya beat me to it EG! Very good memory you have. But for the sake of being nitpicky the second alinea should go

but in dreams I still hear your name
and in dreams we will meet again

And congrats on reaching 1000 posts!

i think its worth it! i love the music, its very relaxing and i also like how well it tells the story. Not many soundtracks do that anymore. It's really beautiful music!

Gollum Yessss, Preciousss, it knows the songsss, it doessss...

You can't find the CD? that's weird... It's in just about every CD shop where I am, Down Under, but my sister already has it so I borrow it non-stop. I listen to it at least once a day, and I love the start of Track 5 - The Black Rider I think... I just keep bopping along to it... *bounces around on chair and nearly falls off* Ok, maybe that wasn't such a good idea...

BTW, LuthienTinuviel, any good 'elvish' dreams lately? Boromir turned up in mine once, but all he did was get shot...

You can get the CD from loads of places like HMV but Sainsbury's is the cheapest only £9.99. Track 5 is my fav too but I like 6 and & the best cause their so intense, they're the only thing that can wake me up in the morning.

I teared up listening to "Lament for Gandalf", remembering the hobbits in tears outside the mines.

I think that Enya made other songs inspired by Tolkien’s work. Has anyone heard Enya’s Lothlorien? From Shepard’s Moon, I think.

Enya's Lothlorien is beautiful! It would fit the place perfectly. Lothlorien and China Roses are my favorites.

I don't know why you're so sad over Gandalf (or at least hte Hobbits being sad). I never liked him anyway! (please please please don't kill me if he's your favourite) But has anyone else counted the amount of times he is nasty to Pippin?!? Poor little dude - He isn't even come of age yet, and everyone thinks he's dim when half the stuff they blame him for isn't his fault! Like the thing in Moria - well, in the book he was just curious! and in the movie, How in middle-earth was he supposed to know that twisting an arrow would do that?
Sorry, I've just vented, haven't I? Oops. Oh well.

There is something special about her songs, almost as if she was an elvish bard.

I agree. There's (at loss for a better word) an edge in her songs that can make you close your eyes and dream away. Although I like Clannad too, their music is very simular.

I believe she is kin to several of the members of Clannad (but I’m not certain) I think she herself may have been a member.
