My comment about what men want is based on some rather tough expirences in what were otherwise good relationships. I had one lady say to me, "I'm gonna change you. Take off those rough edges and make you shine."

Well, that didn't last to long and I still have my leather jacket she absolutely hated. I could never figure that one out. (My wife says it time for a new one but I'll keep it anyhow.)

It's one thing to encourage someone in their direction, it's another to decide what that direction is.

ok heres a question for guys... well i read this thing the other day, i cant remember where it was from but it said that they polled these teenage guys and the general answer to the question was that they prefer girls with a little 'meat' on them, to really skinny girls. somehow i'm still not convinced. is it cus they assume 'bigger' girls will be bigger up-top or something???

For some the up-top is the thought, but for me (and my wife will vouch for me, after she kills me) and many of my male cohorts, it's like that song: "Girl, you lookin'good. Why don't you back that thing up?"

This is just me but I would like to think both. However, I've noticed that most of my past GFs wore their hair short. I've also noticed that I was attracted most to their being practical and not being too conscious of their own looks; but just enough to look appropriately (whatever that means) neat for company. The hair is coincidental.
I must admit that I once had a crush on Mary Stewart-Masterson (not the other Mary Stuart) in "Some Kind of Wonderful" back in the 80s when most of you were not walking yet.

This is one of those long, involved things that takes some time t0o explain.

Suffice it to say, I can't see myself with a girlfriend int he traditional sense, but if I did, I wouldn't care.
