Frodo lives....then goes West over the Sea and dies a horrible, lonely, miserable death without his beloved Sam. What a putz.

Gandalf

Just got back from Boston, and I was walking around alot and was wearing my necklace with the One Ring on it. It was really interesting seeing all these people walk by and glance over, look back straightahead again, then back at the ring. Alot of the people were about to say "hey, I know that" but they only got as far as to open there mouth and stare with a smile on their face.

I think it would be good for everyone to wear a necklace with a ring around it. Anyone will do. Being a ringbearer isn't that bad when its a normal ring and not the one ring

Kwijibo, that is so cool about your bedroom decor! I'd love to see your "Gates of Moria" door when it's finished. Wow! It's so cool to hear about someone else's LOTR-inspired decor. I'm in the process of decorating my room kind of along the lines of what I imagine a small bedroom in Elrond's house might look like. I have textured cream and beige wallpaper, soft mossy green carpet and draped curtains held up with sconces. My dad gave me for Christmas a carved Celtic harp which really adds ambience. Any beautiful carved thing seems to me especially Elvish. I'm getting a small carved swan to put in the window with my herb plants. It's so fun!! I'm on a very limited budget too but I've done a lot of the work myself ( it has taken me months to finish )and my grandma helped with the money angle. (What I do without her?!!) One thing you might do is paint pictures of "historical" figures of Middle Earth (like Finrod Felagund, Beren and Luthien, Earendil and Elwing, etc..) to go on your walls, if you have any extra space on them. You might have pillows onn your bed with Elanor flowers embroidered on them. (Hmm, are you a guy or a girl? That would make a difference. ) Anyway, sorry to be so off subject, everbody. I just got excited. :P

Are there bumper stickers that say "Frodo Lives!"? If so, where do I get one? If not, why not?

If "Have a nice day" has a smiley, what do you think Frodo Lives will have? Feraway's art does come to mind (like FF's avatar). Any other ideas?

The Ring, or something. FRODO LIVES!! () <-- that's supposed to be a ring. Or Feraway's art, that'd be cool too. I have to go make a Frodo Lives bumper sticker now, if you don't mind . . .

FRODO LIVES! (erm...well..what about Sam?)

My friend and I write it all over the blackboards at school...and then our humanities teacher gets mad because we don't erase it. Well, what's the POINT?
Hey...does anyone know how the original "Frodo Lives" came about? Was it just random people deciding to write it everywhere (i.e., like us! ) Or what? If anyone lived through that (and remembers it, see, I don't, even if I did)* could you explain, por favor? Muchas gracias! (Also...how does one say "please" and "thank you" in Elvish?)

-tano

*sorry...that was confusing...

Well, I'll have a bumper sticker at some point . . . as soon as I decide to actually skip Gym class and go to the Art room instead. They have some junk for making stickers, which everybody at school uses for bumper stickers.
Oh, and Tanoliel, thank you in Elvish is hantalë, or hantalyë (something like that, I've been told both). I have no idea how one would say please . . . I've gotta go do more research.

Um...because we miss Frodo and we want to make sure everyone knows that he's still around and...well...I don't actually know. There was a big "frodo lives" thing going around a long time ago....seventies? eighties? I honestly don't remember even if I knew. But it's fun...
I've started to add "(and Sam, too!)" on them....because having Frodo would be cool....but Sam would be cooler. (I know...I just love Sam too much...)

The life of Frodo has been added to my signature

(not to be confused with a Monty Python movie)
