Impatience-Vent:

Am really impatiently awaiting a positive reply from the Regional Police Command.

They needed 8 cleaners at the newly finished local Police station and Ive sent in an application a couple of weeks ago but they haven't gone thru them all yet.

So wish me luck.

Much better, thanks, Spock! I just had a toasted bagel and it feels like it's going to be happy in my stomach - yay!

I'm not quite up to a normal diet yet, but am MUCH better today!

EDIT: Though I didn't like it when I stepped in a puddle today and had to walk half a mile home with one foot dry and warm, and the other totally soaked! That was a wierd feeling.

And my shoes suck, so it's not very good for me.

Plus, it ruins my outdoors plans!

Which is not to say I want to be always be sunny. *shudder* In my ideal world, it would always be grey skies, without raining for several days straight.

In my ideal world, which actually exists, just not here, it would rain for four straight days without letting up for a minute. Then the sun would come out for a similarily long length of time. Where I live right now, it rains... and then it drizzles... and then it clears up and the sun shines for approximately 2 1/2 seconds, and then it clouds up... and then the sun comes out again... and then it pours... and then it's just cloudy... and so on and on and on. It's very annoying.

Speaking of shoes that suck, my sneakers have just about died. I've had them for.. probably something like four years now. It's not that they're my favourite or anything, but I have really worn them into the ground. They used to be white, now they are this brown-yellow kind of colour. The rubber about the toe and heel is peeling. There's holes in the toes and some of the seams. One of the laces is fraying at one end. The plastic peice behind the heel on the inside is cracking and coming out. The soles on the inside are getting all bumpy in the wrong places.... My real trouble is, I cannot find a pair of sneakers that I like in order to replace these relics.

I badly, badly need to find new shoes. My 'dress shoes' have deteriorated to the point where they are down right hideous, and my sneakers are falling apart too. The only reasonable pair of shoes I have is a pair of dress shoes that are orangeish-brown. A) the colour is rather dubious on shoes, and B) it doesn't go with too much.

I prefer the winter over the summer. In the summer you have rain and rain and more frickin' rain when in the winter you have chilly days to snuggle with your boyfriend and a cup of hot tea.
