sorry for my petite absense (sorry! just finished french class for the day!!)

DEFINITIONS for TARPON
1. A short leather strap, used in falconry
2. a fish
3. to tarpon (verb) to cover, i.e place a tarpaulin on something, hence: what have you been doing? i have been tarponning the car
4. Any large egg
5. A thick, blue covering, usually a cloak. Origin of the word "tarp".
6. a freshwater fish
7. a large game fish
