Not exactly... You're right about the 15th century, Lotesse, but the artist was Italian. I guess this won't help as a clue, but I posted it because it's in the Ashmolean here in Oxford

edit: wait a minute... did you have a different pic up earlier? I just took another look at it and I truly remember a street scene with a golden sky that felt very Turner-ish
